The location is good. In front of Loh Guan Lye Specialist Centre. There is bus stop to go to airport near the hotel. And you can find many local cuisine along the way of Macalister. But the hotel need to improve the cleanliness.

The location was definitely strategic if you want to be near Penang general hospital as it is walking distance. Amenities were moderate as there were no hair dryer. Room was clean enough and otherwise comfortable enough for a short 3 day 2 night stay.

No cable to boil water. Bathroom needs to upgrade

Room is small and sparsely furnished. Sound insulation leaves much to be desired. Can hear others taking a shower and using the toilet

It's good enough if you're only here for medical treatment or a hospital visit.

Room is pretty basic. In an old building.
Sound proof not so great.
Ok for a quick 1 night stay. But I won’t stay longer.
Good that they have parking available in front of the hotel.

As a 1 star hotel, nothing much to complain as i booked for my aunty to take care my mother in LGL hospital. It's location is strategic just opposite LGL hospital. Front desk service is friendly, help to educate me on self check-in. Room is simple with tower and aircon, good for simple overnight especially for LGL hospital visitors traveling from abroad.

Hello ! In Penang for a few days we of course decided to go for some delicious local specialties such as the Kyaw Teow! After reading a positive review we decided to head out on a long walk to taste the Sisters crabby noodles. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience and I feel like alot has changed since then ! We are not difficult when it comes down to food and always eat local. The serving size was miniscule and after 5 bites it was already gone. Served with just a small pinch of crab and 3 small very overcooked shrimp. Aside from that it was apparently necessary for us to purchase a drink from another lady who shares the restaurant with the owner but who has a separate business. We went for an iced lemon tea which was either powdered or Lipton for twice the price we are used to paying. All of this with the lack of smiles pushes us to say that this place is not what it was and there are many others great options in town !

Cheers !

This place is not as good as the older days. We went in at 12.15pm, lunch time and we are the only 2 customers. The ckt is below par and cost RM6.00, way above the price for that quality. I believe the stall has changed operator, as it was run by an elderly man now.
The pak po peng ice is also too expensive for a kopitiam standard.
No wonder this place is empty now.

Over-rated, there are many other stalls with more tasty char koay teow.
