Ipoh Boutique Hotel in Ipoh

I booked this hotel for my parents and younger sister to attend a wedding hosted by a family friend. Unfortunately, as soon as they arrived, my sister told me the hotel was in terrible condition. There were no towels provided, the bathroom light was broken, and even to use a basic item like an iron, they had to contact the staff.

While I do appreciate that the staff were friendly and helpful, I feel very sorry for my elderly parents having to go through this kind of experience. I understand that it's a budget hotel (like other OYO properties), but that doesn’t mean the basics should be ignored.

I've stayed at or booked other affordable OYO hotels before, and even with the low price, they offered better small facilities and were more generous in their service.

Please improve your maintenance and basic amenities. Guests deserve a decent, comfortable stay — even at a budget price.

Not exactly same in the booking n agoda. Just see the picture attached. Won't go here anymore. Already told my admin office to blacklist and not to booking here.

Boutique hotel right in the middle of town. Very convenient as a lot of places of interest are just a short walk away.
The major grouses are the hotel is dated and many facilities not in working condition.
Parking is an issue since they have only 2 reserved parking lots in front of the hotel. You need to look for a proper parking spot by the road side or park at the private car park.
It is high time for the hotel to going for a facelift.
