Everything about the service was great, the staff were really friendly and always greeted us. The parking garage is underground, with attendants directing traffic. It seemed to be one of those lift parking systems, with all cars parked on the ground level. The hotel's facilities and amenities met budget hotel standards, making for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, close to all the attractions. We basically walked to Ipoh Railway Station, Concubine Lane, and Han Chin Pet Soo Museum – it was very easy.

Superior is not bad but there is much better room for this hotel like the deluxe one that already renovated it is slightly bigger.
Overall this hotel is near concubine lane and other tourist spot town area

The hotel is newly renovated. We love the view from the room that we can see the river. The hotel is very near to the train station, not more than 10 minutes by car.

The hotel's location is its biggest advantage. It's just over a 10-minute walk from the train station, and major attractions like Ipoh's Concubine Lane are also within a 10-minute radius. The hotel restaurant offers a nice view, but cleanliness is an issue. There were cockroaches in the room, clearly visible in the bathroom for two days. I'm not sure how the room cleaning was done.

Hotel location and front desk is good as well. The room is consider big. But parking is horrible especially lobby parking. Really very scary and not convenient for driver. Need to squeeze into small parking place and also hard to move.

Walkable distance to some of the restaurants, after renovations feels like muji style. The upper floor lobby was upgrading system, view there is nice. Got parking below but if it’s full opposite also have parking and there will fetch you to the hotel.

The location is very close to Ipoh Old Town, within walking distance. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs which is very convenient for buying things. The hotel stated that Chinese speakers were welcome, but I didn't encounter anyone from the front desk to housekeeping who spoke Mandarin. If you don't speak any English, I'd advise caution before choosing this hotel. The hotel entrance is on a main road, which isn't very pedestrian-friendly, but that's how it is everywhere in Malaysia, constantly crossing roads. Breakfast was just okay; I reckon most people won't be used to it, but they did have common items like fruit, cereal, and bread. The facilities list mentioned a laundry room, but there wasn't one. If it's not available, it shouldn't be advertised. However, the staff in the lobby, including the front desk, security, and housekeeping, were all very nice and friendly, which was good. It's just a standard budget hotel, and the cleanliness is acceptable. If you don't expect too much, it's a decent place to stay.

It is a clean hotel within walking distance to majority of the attractions in ipoh. Very comfortable to stay. Recommended!

The location of the hotel is good, not far from the famous eateries area. The basement of parking is limited and parking in another building js available. There is a free shuttle connecting parking B to the main building. However it only runs between 8am till 11pm. There is a 7eleven convenient shop at the lobby.
Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. There is a pantry in every floor for water refill.

Really good food, fresh and tender. However there is no menu, they can't speak English and customer service is very direct, no smiley welcome etc.
We ordered chicken rice with spring onions which was delicious and I am sure that if you know more about Chinese food or can speak Chinese you can order more interesting things.

You can feel local atmosphere. Weightless are all lady, they speak local language? There are mainly Chinese customers. It was a little bit difficult to order, but food taste was good. You should order egg custard, it is nostalgic.

The horfun was really smooth and the chicken was tender. We didn’t have to wait long for a table for 2 pax.

If you’re particular about toilets, advisable to not use the one at the restoran.

Delicious food (chicken/prawn hor fun, pork satay, creme caramel) but loses a star for the exercise in frustration that is called waiting for a table. The hor fun stall it seems is the one that is causing the problem as their food is slow to arrive compared to the others, thus slowing down the turnover of patrons.

The waiting time isn't a big issue. What I experience today was a force to order drinks, and I ordered herbal tea but came egg custard; then I was forced to pay for it. It is not that I did not order food from the shop anyway! Places like this should just boycott, arrogant just because they are famous.
