ibis Melaka in Malacca

This Ibis is much better than those in China. The room is clean, and the bedding is also quite clean. The breakfast is relatively rich, though the taste might not suit Chinese palates. The front desk staff doesn't speak Chinese, and some only speak Malay, not English. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Jonker Street, and it only takes a few minutes to walk to the Dutch Square (Red Square), which is very convenient.

The lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful; she assisted us when we forgot to exchange cash. A big shout-out to her! The room and facilities were decent. However, the water eventually ran cold, and the lighting around the dressing mirror wasn't ideal for applying makeup. The location is quite convenient, though there are quite a few Indian people in the vicinity.

The location is excellent, close to everything. The breakfast was okay, pretty standard. However, the facilities are quite old. The shower drain was slow, and there was a strong smell in the bathroom. It was just a place to make do.

It was nice staying here, and compared to Dec 2024. It's been so much better for the service rendered. Keep it up! The Location is superd and we loves it, 5 mins walk to Jonker street, do not even need to drive over. As the parking at Jonker is limited and during Friday to Sunday, it will be packed.

So with the short distance walk, you can save alot of trouble finding carparks lots.
The room is clean and nice, looks like the pictures in the portal as well.

Hotel’s location is strategically located in the heart of Melaka City, the room conditions can be improve, overall is just okay

I had a wonderful stay at ibis Melaka! The hotel is clean, modern, and very well-maintained. The location is excellent — just a short walk to Jonker Street and other main attractions, yet quiet enough for a relaxing night’s rest.

The room was comfortable, with cozy beds, good air-conditioning, and all the essentials you’d expect from an international hotel brand. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with directions or local recommendations.

Breakfast offered a good variety of both local and Western options, and the dining area was bright and pleasant. Parking was convenient, and Wi-Fi connection was stable throughout the stay.

Overall, ibis Melaka delivers great value for money — perfect for both leisure and business travelers looking for a reliable, comfortable place to stay in the heart of Melaka. Highly recommended!
