The bathroom door wouldn't close properly, and I noticed it was because the wall was cracked. 😅 Breakfast was decent, but the location is quite out of the way.

The room 817 was spacious, but I just wish that the air conditioner worked better. It took hours to cool the room.
Plus, our toilet had clogged sink and loose shower as well. It would be better, if there was no carpet at all. Carpets would definitely create a lot of dust and mites

The hotel is situated in a busy hub in Shah Alam surrounded by many corporate offices. I chose this location mainly because it’s close to my company office, which makes it very convenient. Overall, the hotel offers basic amenities and facilities suitable for an overnight stay. The availability of a swimming pool, restaurant and café is an added advantage.

I stayed here for a quick trip and found the room spacious and clean, with a bed that made it easy to sleep well. The air-conditioning worked fine and the room size felt generous compared to some city hotels. The staff were mostly polite, and check-in wasn’t too complicated. A good stay overall — clean rooms, friendly staff, comfortable beds, and great value for money.

This is my third time bringing my family for a staycation at Hotel Geno.
This time, we chose a bigger room — the CEO Suite.
The room is spacious, comfortable, and very satisfying.
Plenty of space for the family to relax and move around comfortably.
Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely come back again.

Just a heads-up, you'll need to ask at reception if your room card has been validated (before going up to your room). Because in my case, I had to go back down to get it validated. Hmm... but everything else was fine. Love it!

I'm impressed this hotel is good in terms of room which is very specious like old hotels used to be. Very reasonable price and parking space is available. So convenient for business travellers. Some restaurants nearby also.
Only thing is the key card was a bit less sensitive, had to tap few times at the lift and for room access. A bit troublesome at that time. Otherwise everything is good. May consider this hotel again if I have any business near the area next time.
