I had a fantastic stay at Victor’s place! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was quick and helpful throughout my stay.

The River was a real highlight. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Very comfortable and clean. The owner was very kind and thoughtful. He even bought us some snacks from Malacca. Thank you very much. We stayed for two nights and were very satisfied. Friends said they would stay here again next Highly recommend.

I saw quite a few bad reviews, but I think that they were all from the same group / family, this place definitely deserves 5 stars

I stayed at this homestay in December 2023 for Christmas and it was awesome. The house was really lovely, got a lot of pretty decorations and most importantly, super clean. Even my mom was happy when she first came to the house. Upstairs, there are two rooms with a bathroom and a balcony that had a great view of the river, perfect for late night chats with coffee.

Downstairs, there is a really clean kitchen and another bathroom. The living room had an extra bed, which was good for kids, and a TV. The owner was super kind. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and every morning, he gave us some yummy kuih for breakfast. It was a sweet gesture from the owner.

I think this homestay deserves more than 5 stars. If I ever go to Melaka with my family again, I'll definitely book this place. It's totally worth every penny!

We loved our stay here, the house was near basically everything and it was so lovely to be right by the river. Place smelt great and was very clean. Size was great, and the rooms were lovely. Victor was an exceptionally helpful host and always gave us the information we needed precisely when we needed it. Thank you Victor for a fantastic stay! Should be called Victor Rio instead of Vista Rio 😃

An old house right in front a river side. Cosy, warm and clean environment with London style decorated. We received a lovely Malacca nyonya kuih the next morning while we were having our coffee at second floor seeing River sun rise view. Across the bride with walking distance found some restaurants and bars at the back street. Surprisingly the foods are not bad. ThumbsUp for this place. We will explore their other accommodation.
