Estadia Hotel in Malacca

The room just ok. The hotel near to Mahkota Hospital and shopping mall. Staff is helpful and friendly. Parking is free provided by the hotel. Easy to get the food and drinks by walking distance. No deposit required when you check in to the hotel.

Room was quite smelly, soundproof system is not good we could hear talking from next door very clearly. But overall was ok

Upon our arrival, just before midnight, the check-in process was smooth, and we were quickly assigned room 503. However, once we entered the room, we noticed several issues that were quite disappointing:
* There was an unpleasant smell in the room, and the floor was sticky, indicating that proper cleaning had not been done.
* The bathroom had multiple problems: the toilet flush issues, and the shower stand was unstable, with water not flowing well in both the shower area and the basin.
* The bedding, including the bedsheets, blankets, and pillowcases, were stained, which was unacceptable for a hotel.
We requested a room change, but were informed that this was not possible. Instead, a technician was sent to address the issues, but unfortunately, the problems persisted. The only issue solved was the shower stand fixed.
Additionally, during our time waiting for our car (15 and 22mins respectively) in the lobby, we sat in the dining area and were told by staff that we would need to order food in order to use the seating. This was quite surprising as we were guests at the hotel, and there was no alternative seating available for those waiting for transport.
Overall, our experience was very disappointing. The room appeared rundown, and the cleanliness and maintenance were far below expectations. Based on this experience, we are unlikely to consider booking in the future.
