They required a 100 MYR cash deposit and insisted I go get cash, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything else was fine. The environment was nice too, but only the suites had river views.

The location is excellent, on the river short walk to Jonker St yet quiet. We had a balcony room. You need to stand to see the view but it was good to have outside space to watch the boats go by. We also saw a monitor lizard swimming.The room was really stylish and the bed was really comfy with lovely cotton sheets. We stayed 2 nights and there was no cleaning. Wild coriander restaurant next door is excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant is owned by a third party and not part of the hotel. It was very convenient to get cabs. We walked to Daily Fix for breakfast which again was excellent.

Overall, this hotel is pretty good, and the price is relatively cheap. The main advantage is its location, right near Jonker Street, making it super convenient for exploring the area. The picture I uploaded shows the environment from the hotel's main entrance. The interior room photos match what they advertised. There are various room types; I booked a room facing the street with a balcony, not one overlooking the river. One downside is that there's a record bar downstairs, and it can be quite noisy at night, making it a bit difficult to fall asleep.

This hotel was absolutely perfect in every way. The access to tourist attractions, the location, the cleanliness, and the sophisticated interior design were all excellent. The amenities were well-stocked, and there were no issues whatsoever. The breeze coming in from the small balcony was delightful and made me feel so elegant. This is definitely a hotel I'd want to stay at again the next time I visit Malacca!

Hotel is situated next to Malacca river with good view of the river and town. Stay in suite room with balcony overseeing river..nice. Quiet room and comfortable bed.
No coffee spoon provided ? Strange.
Many eateries nearby , Wild Coriander is on the right of hotel 2 shops away. The hotel caters lunch for tourist groups and lobby is crowded at that time. A bar operates in the evening adjacent to hotel lobby facing river, can have beer and food..

no parking around the compound of the hotel when arrived. have to parked the car at Kg Hulu Jonker Walk (about 400m walking distance. to make things worsened, the back door/fence facing the Melaka River was locked. so you have to walk a little bit further. entering the premise, it was simple and fast check in experience. the “pain” happened again when using the elevator, it has uneasy smells inside it. have to breathe uncomfortably until arriving at level 3. more unlucky incidents happened, I slipped when entering the bathroom. the floor easily getting slippery with a minimal amount of water, thus you must alert all the time. the rest, was OK. but will never return again here, bad and unlucky experience. sorry again..

Try to get rooms away from road. It was a much fanfare as the pubs nearby ends at 12:30am and temple starts their prayers with bells at 9am. Traffic is still in moderation but you can hear the bikes.

Room isn’t very much sound proofed and you can hear the next door guests.

Parking (2 lots by hotel) are first come first serve so it was much waiting till 11pm for lots to be available after 11pm when Jonker ends.

The hotel is ideally located in Malacca's Old Town, right by the river. With most of Malacca's key sights, such as Jonker Street and the Dutch Square (just across a bridge), within a 5-minute walk, exploring is incredibly convenient. Despite being central, the hotel offers a peaceful night's sleep. Getting here from Malacca Sentral via Grab takes around 20 minutes and costs roughly 10 MYR. The room was surprisingly spacious, a welcome change from many city hotels where space is often limited. It was clean and well-equipped. A 100 MYR deposit is required upon check-in and is refunded upon check-out.

Dropped by for a drink to cool down. Me and my partner were served drinks with small red ants swimming around in them. Was met with a rude response when I politely queried it and then got the same drink back with less contents.

Just had a drink here. Nice atmosphere, live music. Staff was friendly, ok. You can rent bikes, book tours, it's also a hostel. Little bit of everything it seems.

Chicken is just either steamed or roasted, then mix with soya sauce. Nothing really special about this place food. The staff looks tired and disinterested to serve customers. Will not come here again. Any other chicken rice shop will serve better chicken rice than this.

This is the 2nd time I visit this chicken rice restaurant, their food is quite nice and chicken is nice juicy and tender. We ordered chicken, ponteh bak and char siew and roast pork combo. And of course the chicken rice balls.

Everything is nice except the do not have the option of normal chicken rice and only have the balls. you'll have to eat many of them as they're small. Other than this everything is nice and price is reasonable.
