It's more of a B&B setup, conveniently located, but everything else is just average.

Location of the hotel is very good, right next to Jonker Street. However, as a heritage hotel, it has limited facilities ie. no pool, gym or restaurant, but there are plenty of food options nearby. Also, avoid choosing rooms with 2 levels, as toilet is usually on ground level and makes going to toilet at night challenging due to the steep staircase. Staff service is also mediocre and not too helpful.

It was our first time staying at Heeren Straits Hotel and we truly enjoyed it! The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk to Jonker Street. The interior has a lovely Peranakan vibe, and there are several charming spots within the hotel perfect for photo-taking. The staff were friendly and patient throughout our stay. A bonus point is the private parking area with a gated entrance, which added an extra sense of security. Highly recommended for a short getaway in Melaka!

Excellent hotel in the center of Malacca. Everything is perfect, except we had a noisy neighbour during our stay, who step the floor like elephant, often slam the door and running in the corridor. Please… whoever see my comment and wish to stay in this hotel, be gentled to this lovely heritage house.

Place is clean, staffs are friendly. Location is great, walking distance to Jonker street. I'm travelling with young children, so the staircase is an inconvenience. Otherwise, the place is great, highly recommended.

Selling bad beer. 1st ordered Guniess stout and Tiger. The Tiger tasted fresh but the stout tasted flat. Ask to change if cant thn told them to bring Tiger instate. The waiter brought Tiger guess what its flat too. And i compared both tiger glass in front the waiter. Told him dont fool us and We know what u served to us n surprising he admitted d bartender aware this. Well if any of u enjoying nice good beer pls go somewhere else. This place cheating ppl.
