We spent 6 nights on the island, and it was impossible to be bored. Everything was perfectly organized, clean. Vey helpful staff, wide selection of food for meals. If you're looking for privacy, you've got it. If you want to be active, you can snorkel around the island or take an organized trip, such as adventure snorkeling. You simply swim "in the aquarium" every day. If you want to try diving, we recommend the Joy Dive Center. We learned a lot from Nick, and my husband and son earned their Scuba Diver certification. To sum up - we spent wonderful and unforgettable moments.

After staying five nights, the breakfast menu is almost the same, so it gets boring.
The hotel room attendant was friendly and nice.
The house reef is disappointing, and $10 for 24 hours to rent snorkeling equipment seems a bit expensive.
The food was neither good nor bad.

🌴 Review: Dreamland Maldives (Stayed July 7–11, 2025) 🌴
Just returned from an amazing 4-night stay at Dreamland Maldives, and overall we were really impressed — especially if you love marine life and peaceful surroundings.
🐠 Snorkeling & Excursions – Absolutely worth it!
The house reef around the island is full of life. We saw nurse sharks, sea cucumbers, and even sea turtles while snorkeling close to shore.
Our favorite excursions were:
• A trip to Hanifaru Bay to watch the majestic manta rays.
• A nurse shark tour around the Dreamland reef — exciting and well organized.
🍴 Food – Delicious and better than expected
We chose the Full Board package (3 meals per day), and the buffet meals were consistently good.
Each day offered a variety of beef, pork, chicken, and fish dishes, along with rotating international options.
We were pleasantly surprised to find Thai dishes occasionally included — such as Tom Yum Chicken Soup and Thai Fish Cakes (Tod Mun Pla) — both authentic and flavorful.

Still water is not included in Full Board.
• A 1.5L bottle costs around $3.50 USD, which adds up over several days.
• If you prefer not to worry about extra drink charges, we recommend going for the All-Inclusive package instead.

This resort is brimming with hospitality.
We stayed here to celebrate my mother's 88th birthday.
Despite being a small island, the facilities are excellent, and the resort is designed to harmonize with nature.
It feels so good to be able to walk barefoot on the island.
The food is delicious and varied, beyond what you'd expect on a remote island.
I imagine it must be quite difficult to source all that food.
The staff were also very friendly.
We happened to experience a series of malfunctions with the facilities in our room, but the staff responded quickly and always showed concern.
At the end, we received a lovely local souvenir as an apology for the malfunction, and on our return flight, they changed our scheduled domestic flight to a Seaplane.
This resort is truly brimming with hospitality.

Restauration variée et de qualité. Ibrahim est merveilleux..aux petits soins..en restant discret.
Le snorkeling a rempli toutes nos attentes: raies, requins, tortues..un vrai aquarium..Dauphins qui passent en bandes que l on peut observer depuis la terrasse..Pensez à observer de nuit on voit passer carangues et requins sous la villa qui chassent..j ai regretté de ne pas avoir pris de jumelles..Hotel au top, au calme sans les activités sonores et barbantes que l on peut trouver dans certains resorts.. pour des vacances déconnectées et reposantes..

It has been a perfect vacation, the hotel is perfect and romantic to go as a couple, excellent service, wonderful food and very friendly staff, the island is well designed, the indoor restaurant is very romantic and the beach bar too. We went to go scuba diving, and the area around the island is perfect, with live coral, for snorkeling and/or scuba diving, swimming around the island, I saw turtles, rays and a lot of little fish, it was beautiful. The diving center was very professional and charming (shout out to Igor), the diving excursions were spectacular, I felt very safe, I saw manta rays, turtles, sharks, rays, and thousands of little fish. A vacation that is difficult to beat and a unique hotel and environment. Everything was perfect, I only have good words for this hotel and its people. Thank you for the experiences provided.

It is a beautiful and quiet island (depending on the volume of the other guests). There’s plenty of fish around the island to make snorkeling very interesting.
The staff were very accommodating by letting is check in early and check out late. It was much appreciated.
Communication with the staff was sometimes difficult. Before checking in, I emailed the staff to ask a couple of questions, but the reply was not very helpful. The same on check out. Also, the representative was not at the airport when we arrived for the seaplane transfer.

There is absolutely not enough stars to give, how great this island is! One doesn't know where to begin with praise!
You get the first impression of the friendliest Staff Members on the Boat at the pickup at sea. Hospitality and professionalism are at the highest level possible! The villa's are amazingly spacious, beautiful an clean!
The food is amazing! There so much to choose from every meal that you can't not eat allot!
The spa is also really good. The massage are a bit pricey but so worth the money!
The reef is so beautiful and there is allot to see there!
All in all, absolutely relaxing holiday. We stayed for three weeks and we didn't have a moment of boredom!

The charm that may be missing somewhere else (Royal Island) is to be found on Dreamland. The bungalow design is very nice with a huge glass front towards the sea, food is decent, pricing very mild for Maldives what
leads to people in the bars and some ambiente, and the pond in the middle is certainly an unique asset. The only flaw may be the dive spots closeby that are not the best of the atoll. Overall a very good choice.
