D1 入住沙屋 私人泳池和沙滩玩水 从房间走向沙滩 阳光明媚 豁然开朗 晚上out of blue吃晚餐 （out of blue有出乎意料之意 马代的第一餐着实惊艳） D2 一早醒来就看到酒店布置的周年纪念沙画 很漂亮 吃完早餐参加酒店赠送的浮潜（酒店赠送的）两位专业的海洋生物学家带我们一家四口 从戴面具呼吸管脚蹼 到沿着海沟欣赏 非常棒的体验 中午蹭了几口娃的免费餐饮 下午把孩子扔进儿童客户中心（the Den）去享受酒店赠送的六十分钟spa （是的 又是酒店赠送的 因为周年纪念 从30min升级到60min）还有一个赠送的冷冻项目 我们由于胆小没有尝试 D3 下了一夜的雨 吃完早餐小朋友就去the Den和昨天新交到的朋友玩了 我们就收拾搬去水屋 等我们搬完后雨也停了 大家就在水屋玩游泳池滑滑滑梯和浮潜 由于突降暴雨取消了追海豚活动（还是赠送的）在户外的乒乓球室打了好久的球 D4. 绕道赤脚骑行 在密林中一点也不晒 看到了一群抢壳的寄居蟹 抓到了眼睛透明怕痒痒的螃蟹 下午继续回水屋玩水 傍晚自费玩了索道和山顶餐厅 主厨是印度人 整个用餐过程非常愉快 运气很好当天夜晚满天繁星 晚饭后还去了酒店的观星台 专家Shizu小姐给我们看星星并仔细介绍 还为我们拍到清晰的月坑和银河 D5 一清早追海豚失败 吃完早餐离岛 美中不足的是来去都没有坐到索尼娃自己的水飞 沟通两天还是未果 所以我给这次行程的打分是almost perfect 岛上的餐食都非常好吃 每个菜系都有专业国家的厨师掌勺 比如意大利披萨和意面就是意大利厨师 堪比各式各样的米其林餐厅 而且从只包早餐升级到了包晚餐 我们只花了饮料和山顶晚餐的钱 还有最棒的一点是 洗一篮衣服只要十块几美金 是我觉得fushi最最最性价比的一个收费项目 Last but not least真的好爱fushi的自然风 光着脚丫 享受了五天的惬意 感谢我们的赤脚管家Laura 非常有耐心且专业 提供了明明白白事无巨细的安排 让我们整个人都放松了下来 期待以后再来

Soneva Fushi is one of the most magical places I’ve ever been in my entire life. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave your every need is taken care of. I went with my husband and our 3 children (5, 3 and 4 months old) and we all had the most amazing holiday. The food (special mention to the breakfast - sensational!) was amazing and varied. The kids club and babysitters were fantastic and very capable. The villas are so gorgeous, spacious and extremely well kept. Having three young children I truly forgot what it was like to feel relaxed however when my older boys were at kids club and my baby was sleeping in his cot, I was able to read my book in the sun and dip in and out of the crystal clear ocean and it was HEAVEN. Special mention to Micky, our barefoot guardian, who felt like part of the family by the end of our stay. We can’t wait to return!

Another visit to Soneva Fushi and it just gets better. Stayed at villa 26 this time and it was fabulous. The food was excellent whether at Fresh in the Garden, Down to Earth, Out of the Sea or Out of the Blue. Special thanks to our Guardian Saeed, Sonia who looked after the villa, Arla and Sanjit at Out of the Blue and Ravi at breakfast. It is the staff that makes this incredible place so wonderful.

We had the most amazing time in Soneva and wanted to see where the original barefoot luxury began. The resort is incredible. Yes there areas of construction and the local island on one of the island but in general it's the level of hospitality that's unmatched. A lot of the staff have been there for many years and there's a culture of warmth permeating through them. For us, meals felt more like being in a lavish family function with uncles and aunts or cousins rather than staff members. In particular thank you to Aftab, and many of the chefs who went above and beyond like Narendra and Ravi. The kids club is as incredible as described too and our kids particularly enjoyed the introduction to water sports sessions. Most of all a huge thank you to Miqdad who was a great host and so kind with our kids. So much so, they've asked how he is, since we left. We hope to return again soon, which is a sign of how good the place is as we've not returned to a resort before!

If you know, you know. Soneva properties are one of a kind - intelligent, barefoot luxury. Don’t expect marble floors and glitz, instead it’s about connecting with your surroundings with the freshest food, fabulous service and a vibe that you have to experience for yourself. It’s a special experience.

First let me say it was a relatively late call to visit Soneva Fushi on our last trip to Maldives. I had booked the last 5 days in a resort in the Male atolls for easy access to the airport when departing. However being during Easter everything was extremely expensive and I could not justify the value for the resort I had booked so changed to SF. Thank you Di from Addicted to Maldives for always taking care of my multiple changes and wobbles with a smile. I hestited about writing yet another review of SF as I was not sure I could add anything from my previous stays. However when I was perusing their website preparing for my next visit I realised that what is special about SF is the ethos and soul. What Eva and Sonu has created is an island/resort with and amazing heart. How many places do you know that banned plastic straws last century - or help the local island handle rubbish, water and teach children how to swim. How many business have staff that have been there since inception. I could go on. These things are really important to me but maybe not to everyone. Yes the island has an amazing jungle, exceptional food, genuine caring staff, great beach, reef and rooms but its is more than the sum of these things that make Soneva special. Yet its not for everyone. It is pretty low tech and totally not flashy. Yet everything is well maintained .You will look out of place if you dress up. We generally prefer smaller resorts with less families but these things have never bothered us at SF. The only thing I dislike about Fushi is the prices !!!. Being obsessed is not good for my bank balance

We spent two magical nights at Soneva Fushi before heading to Soneva Jani, and it completely stole our hearts. Even though it’s one of the larger islands in the Maldives, it somehow feels so cozy and peaceful. There's something really special about the atmosphere there. We stayed one night in a beach villa and one in a overwater villa, and both were absolutely incredible in their own ways. The restaurants were amazing. We especially loved Out of the Blue, such an impressive design for a restaurant, and the food was delicious. One of the highlights was dinner at Fresh in the Garden, a magical spot surrounded by greenery, and we ended the evening at the Observatory, stargazing through a telescope with the resort’s own astronomer. Looking at planets while hearing stories about the universe was such a cool, unexpected experience. We also tried the zipline, which was way more fun than we expected. And honestly, what made our time at Soneva Fushi even more special was our host, Regina. She was absolutely incredible! The most thoughtful, attentive, and effortlessly kind person. I’ve never experienced that level of care and attention at a hotel before. Regina, you're a star! Soneva Fushi will always have a very special place in our memories.

So if there was one place in the world that I would rather be, it will forever be Soneva Fushi. From the charming, gentle and thoughtful staff, to the beautiful, authentic villas and lush surroundings, there is nowhere quite like it . The airport lounge gives a glimpse into what pleasures lie ahead, lovely nibbles, massage and compression leggings to ease the symptoms of a long flight. Our lovely barefoot guardian, Adonia, was super fantastic! We never felt awkward requesting anything ( which we have felt previously in other places) and she thought of everything before we even knew that was what we wanted! Truly, she made our time here amazing. The food here is sublime, great quality and created with great skill and thought. We loved the evenings where all the chefs had a cooking station and you could wander around, just picking what you fancy. Great for experimenting new flavours! We had a family Villa for 4 adults on the sunset side, so much space and we loved it…although the new Crusoe 2 beds tour left us breathless…. Next time! We really don’t mind the view of the local island, ( nor did the dolphins that pass by in the channel between!) but I can appreciate some won’t want that. The beautiful beach more than compensates, and we enjoyed the views of Out of the Blue and out of the Sea in the distance. Shout out to all the beautiful restaurants staff, I’m so bad with names, but they were all, without exception, outstanding! They remembered our names, what we liked etc, the spa staff, Josiah the Chinese doctor is highly recommended. I have a thing about lovely loos… and Fushi has beautiful toilets, all with a view!!! Check out was flawless and easy.. so sad to leave, but the consulation was a 2 night trip on Soneva in Aqua on the way to Jani…buts that’s another review for another day! Out of the Blue was our go-to spot for refreshing cocktails while enjoying breathtaking sunsets over the Indian Ocean. Dining at Fresh in the Garden was an adventure in itself. The tree-top restaurant, accessible via a suspension bridge, offered a unique and thrilling approach. The food was exquisite, and the atmosphere unmatched. After dinner, we were thrilled to visit the island’s observatory, complete with its own telescope and an astronomer who was both knowledgeable and friendly, making stargazing a truly magical experience. Our journey to Soneva Fushi was as delightful as the stay. The 30-minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport (MLE) to the resort offered mesmerizing views of coral reefs and lagoons. The experience began even before we arrived, with pampering at the Soneva lounge at the terminal, setting the tone for what was to come. We were greeted in our villa with a complimentary bottle of Leclerc Briant champagne, a thoughtful touch that perfectly aligned with the resort’s eco-friendly ethos. As enthusiasts of biodynamic champagne, this gesture resonated deeply with us, especially since we had the privilege of visiting this boutique champagne house in France.
