It’s really rare to find a hotel this magical. We had a beach villa with a pool and it felt like living in a photo. The rooms have the most impeccable luxury modern design and every detail you can tell was very well thought out. Down to small details like luxury hair dryer and complimentary amenities in the room and welcome gift. There was also lots of quality free amenities like kayaks etc. We had the assistance from ‘Happy’ who even lent us his own personal phone charger when we were stuck - such a fun kind guy we were also able to have a good laugh with. Staff had great personalities and stories to share and weren’t dry and devoid of personality. You felt good vibes here overall. I also interacted with other guests and they were affluent but cool and good fun too. We stayed at Four Seasons after and service felt scripted and hallow. Other guests were kinda soulless and rude to their families and to staff. So we missed JW which really felt like the perfect 10/10 stay. I rarely ever like to repeat holidays. But we will be dreaming of this place and hope to come back in the future

Really loved it! We stayed in a water villa with direct access to the sea. There are three restaurants, all very good, but I wasn't a fan of the Indian food – it just didn't hit the spot for me. There are free cocktail parties once or twice a week, and the atmosphere is fantastic.

The island's environment and service exceeded my expectations. The Chinese-speaking butler was also very nice. The food was delicious with many choices; I didn't experience the frustration of not being able to eat and having to eat instant noodles, as some online reviews mentioned. There are also many recreational activities on the island, and a medical clinic where my friend got medicine without paying—the doctor was so beautiful! I would definitely choose this island again for my next trip!

My wife and I just finished one of the best stays of our lives at the JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll. While the resort itself is a stunning masterpiece with breathtaking views and world-class villas, it’s the people who make this place truly legendary.
The level of personalized service here is unheard of—everyone remembers your name and treats you with such genuine warmth and kindness. You aren’t just a guest; you’re family.
A massive shoutout to the incredible team members who made our trip unforgettable: Isse, Eka, Kina, Madu, Yosso, Oggy, Fausse, Ashfag, and Srikanth. You all are the heartbeat of this resort! Thank you for being so welcoming and for the endless smiles.
If you’re considering a trip to the Maldives, book this resort. You won’t find a better combination of luxury and heart anywhere else. We’re already dreaming of our return!

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, everything was absolutely perfect — from the warm welcome to the outstanding service and attention to detail.
During my first visit, I unfortunately experienced a family loss and had to leave on the same day I arrived. The compassion, understanding, and support the hotel showed me during that difficult time were truly remarkable — something you rarely see unless it comes at a high cost, yet they offered it wholeheartedly.
That human touch meant everything to me and is the reason I chose to return. I can confidently say this hotel has earned my loyalty, and I will be a guest for life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 🤍

The room is great!

We stayed at JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort for five nights during the festive season, and the overall experience was outstanding.

From arrival to departure, the level of hospitality was exceptional and truly reflected the high standards of JW Marriott.
Upon arrival at the airport, staff immediately assisted us and escorted us smoothly to the speedboat jetty. The entire transfer process was seamless and very well organized.

On our departure day, the porter Aaish perfectly escorted us from the boat jetty all the way to the airport check-in counter. He handled every detail with great care and professionalism, making the entire departure process completely stress-free. He was a kind, attentive, and impressive young gentleman, and thanks to him, we left the resort with wonderful final memories.

Our stay on the island was simply wonderful.
Our butler, Nour, was absolutely fantastic. She consistently checked in on us and handled all arrangements flawlessly — buggy requests, restaurant reservations, and activity bookings. Her proactive support and genuine care made our stay extremely comfortable and effortless.

The housekeeping team was also exceptional, especially Shifaz, Fayaz, and Imadh.
The villa was serviced twice a day with impeccable attention to detail. In addition, they surprised us daily with thoughtful little gifts, which delighted our child every single day. Their warm hospitality truly stood out.

As a newly opened resort in 2025, the overwater villa was extremely clean, modern, and comfortable.
Soaking in the bathtub while overlooking the ocean was an unforgettable and truly luxurious experience.

The kids club exceeded our expectations.
Activities were scheduled every hour from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including hands-on experiences such as pizza making using the actual restaurant and bar facilities. The program felt very well planned and professional. Children from many different countries participated, and our child absolutely loved spending time there.

Breakfast was served buffet-style with sparkling wine available, which was a lovely touch for those who enjoy a drink in the morning.
Some items could also be ordered à la carte. The “Osaka Scramble” egg dish, prepared with Japanese-style dashi and bonito flakes, was especially delicious.

There are many dining options on the island, but for dinner, the curry dishes at Riva were particularly memorable and highly recommended.

Overall, there was nothing to fault during our stay.
The service, facilities, dining, and family-friendly atmosphere were all of an exceptionally high standard. Even for guests who have visited the Maldives before, this resort offers a truly special and highly satisfying experience.

We stayed here for four nights and our only complaint is we wish had stayed longer. From the time you land and depart, you are looked after with meticulous care. If you are lucky, you will get Nour as your agent - she made our stay feel better than we deserved. We stayed at the overwater villa first and got upgraded to beach villa in between both are great and privacy-friendly. The rooms are clean and everything feels new as this resort is opened recently.
The beaches are pristine and we were blessed with sunny days during our stay.
All the staff here are professionally trained. When you visit Veyo or Athiri restaurants, ask Mario for food recommendations. Fitness trainer Madu knows how to get you energetic without machine and relaxed with stretching. We tried to experience every activity we could and highly recommend snorkeling at shipwreck and with nurse sharks, dolphin cruise, and parasailing - Alim makes it easy even for beginners.

The island is beautiful and has a secluded feel, perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle. Excellent service and a wonderful experience. I highly recommend returning.
