The staff and service are excellent and the hotel is maintained to a very high standard. Whilst close to the centre of Valletta be prepared for quite a few steps and slopes.
We had two extra enclosed balcony areas, one for luggage and the other looking over the bay with a table and 2 chairs, were we could open the windows and sit with our drinks watching the ships/fireworks (it was a bank holiday)
Never seen such fantastic fireworks.
The breakfast is help yourself but a good choice of cereals,fresh fruit,yogurt, pastries, ham & cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon,sausage beans, tomatoes & toast.
Would recommend and was surprised it was only a two star.
Big thank you to Shaun at the reception who was super friendly and helped us figuring out what to do in such a short time (1 day).
Only negative point was the breakfast which was okay but could have been much better!
This place is just lovely! The stag was nice, it was clean and updated but authentic. It's in a perfect spot if you want to catch a ferry or go for a harbor cruise. We even had a amazing view of the harbor!

The hotel has an excellent location within the Old Town and near to restaurants and attractions.
The rooms were basic, but had everything necessary.
Breakfast was simple and nothing special.
Was good value for money and would recommend.
The views from the rooftop are similar to from nearby viewpoints.
