Wonderful staff. Kind and attentive. 👍 Thumbs up to them.
I was there for 2 nights with my mum and we both loved the concept, the food, the tranquility.
The hotel itself reminds me authentic
mauritian style bungalows.
Maybe as a mauritian, I would expect some more mauritian foods as they used to do like crepes aux cocos, mine frit, vindaye poisson...
Bathrooms could be a slightly upgraded.
We definitely go back.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The check-in was really smooth, and we were welcomed with a drink. The location is beautiful, right by the beach with shallow water full of fish, perfect for snorkelling and having a dip. They also provide free beach towels and sun loungers (although they are very limited, so you’d better keep an eye on them from your room!).

However, the staff never cleared leftover food that other guests had left behind. We had to stack and move the plates to another table, and they still didn’t pick them up the entire time we were sitting there.

The room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a lovely bed and pillows. The air conditioning worked well. The WiFi doesn’t really reach the room and comes and goes, so make sure you have good data on your eSIM!! That said, it does connect to the TV, we watched Netflix without any problems. There’s also a nice big comfy sofa. However, the mini fridge is REALLY mini, and it takes quite a while for drinks to cool down.

Now, the food…

Breakfast was so-so. The continental breakfast didn’t offer many options. They gave us a basket full of pastries (slices of baguette, pain au chocolat, croissants), one choice of juice, plenty of coffee options, a jug of tea, three types of fruit slices, one type of cheese, one protein option (sliced chicken ham), three types of jam, one type of butter (no vegan options), yoghurt, cereals, and only one type of milk (no vegan options).

On our last night, we decided to book dinner at the hotel. We had to book it during breakfast and choose our dinner options there and then… so they had PLENTY OF TIME to prepare the food.

At 7pm (the time recommended by the staff that morning), no one was there to greet or welcome us to our table. The starter was good, warm and served in a reasonable amount of time.

However, the main course and dessert were a completely different story.

We waited 2 HOURS AND 30 MINUTES for a 3-course meal. SORRY, IT WAS 2 COURSES, OUR DESSERT NEVER CAME!!!!

Our main course took ages to arrive and IT WAS COLD!!!!!!!! HOW CAN THEY MESS THIS UP SO MUCH?

After waiting 2 hours and 30 minutes, we were fed up waiting for dessert and went back to our room. 20 minutes later, they knocked on our door and brought the dessert and it wasn’t even that great.

Our tip: go for the location and the stay, but SKIP THE RESTAURANT. There are much better restaurants nearby for the same price.

Extremely disappointed. Waited over an hour while non-residents who arrived later were served first—completely unfair. Drinks came early and were finished before the main course. Food was unacceptable: fish fillet had bones, chicken was hard and not tender, yet the prices are overrated. Poor service, bad food, and it caused diarrhea afterward. Would never pay again. A discount should have been offered given the poor service and quality. Only good for pictures, not for food or service.

Nice fishes (alive & as snacks). Good access to Blue Bay (just not to Wi-Fi). There was room for improvement at the breakfast. Recommendation for next time: more time serving guests than putting on lip gloss 💄

The staff was very friendly and we checked in early. It was clean and cozy, with the ocean just a stone's throw away. Breakfast was delicious. A full dinner, however, needs to be ordered in advance.

We were very disappointed with the room. The hotel itself has a beautiful beach and clear water. We booked deluxe sea view room for a night. There was water leaking from the bathroom into the bedroom (just right next to the bed). The staff told us the way out was to close the water valve which mean we can’t use the toilet and everything in bathroom. He even told us to use the common toilet in the lobby during the stay.

We ask for a new room but he said it was fully booked and offer us only a dinner meal (which that time was 8:30 pm)🙄 and we just came back from dinner. Then they offer a room which is cheaper than we have paid. The staff did not do anything but only keep telling us to get refund from the agency we booked. They are not even accept that it was there false.Very terrible service!!!!!!!! Very below standard and so waste of money.

By the way the room was not clean at all. You can see from the AC remote control😖 If I can rate 0 star I would surely dit that!

Quite disappointed. It is indeed very close to Blue Bay, but the hotel facilities are very average and there is no food nearby. It looks like a state-run guest house inside. There is no parking lot in the hotel. You have to park in the unattended open space outside.
