This is a really beautiful newer hotel in Oaxaca. It’s away from noise but easily walkable to the city center. The rooms were quiet and had an amazing shower. Staff was very nice and accommodating

The property was beautiful and the staff attentive. Spent some quiet time at the pool and then easily walked around to all the interesting spots in town. Excellent place!

Expensive but worth it - staff were fantastic and really helpful organising anything we needed, room was very high spec, breakfast was excellent with an amazing number of options albeit it was expensive

Location was perfect - really close to the historic centre which was a short walk away and the area behind the hotel was also fabulous with loads of street art, shops, cafes and restaurants

We went down to the pool and towels were easily accessible and great area to swim in and relax. We then decided to have dinner down by the pool which was delicious and service was great

While getting ready to leave the next morning I noticed I left my iPad in the room and when I reached out to a manager through email (Carlos Sosa Navarrete) since calling wasn’t working for me he was really helpful and was able to send a taxi to deliver my iPad to the airport

Server was very attentive and polite. At this point I wish we had more time to stay another night. Then ended the night relaxing in bed when we still craved refreshments from dinner and room service was fast

Ended up staying here for a night while on a trip with my wife for a best friends wedding but Amazing service I could not be more satisfied from start to finish even after

He was so responsive through email. Honestly best experience I’ve had compared to back home. Don’t have nothing negative to say besides we wish we could’ve stayed longer

Bags were taken in from the beginning straight to our room after check in. Room was clean and with a gorgeous view of the city

The staff were wonderful and it is in a great location. Close to so many markets, shops, restaurants and sights - it was really easy to wander around. Having the pool there was such a treat too.

The hotel was amazing, so much history in those walls and lovely gardens. The staff was attentive and friendly. A special mention to Roberto at the front desk who's sense of humor and helpfulness was outstanding

This hotel has so much history - it was once a convent. The staff was wonderful and friendly and helpful. And the location is ideal, with markets and restaurants all walkable. Totally recommend!

One note, we had a room w 2 full beds—and the beds for my husband and I were a bit small even though we are both lean

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, from housekeeping to the breakfast team. The breakfast was amazing, and I truly enjoyed it

The room is a good size and hotel has a good location. There was a guy who was especially patient with us, but I don't know his name. Basically all of them were helpful

Breakfast was good, and I liked the fact they served almost until last minutes before they closed. Restaurant staff was nice and attentive. The only thing I will change - I thought there was a pool and a tub there

The location is convenient, the receptionists are all lovely, and they can help you book a taxi, which arrives almost instantly! Their English is also quite good, so communication is not a problem

She even gave us our room with out even having us sign the room docks. She called us back later that day. Its alot better then just muffins and toast. Its a good breakfast to start your morning

The pool area is really nice Before staying we read several reviews about problems with noise. This very much depends on the location of the room you have. Ours has been peaceful and comfortable

This place is nip tucked in one of the nicest neighborhoods of the city. The hotel is charming, stylish, robust and is got everything you will need during your stay. The food is quite delicious as well

But, after we got our rooms, it was smooth sailing. Throughout our stay, there was three weddings and two other events. The hotel is popular especially during wedding season

Fantastic stay and they also they offer a shuttle service which was great if you needed to run short distances. The roof top was amazing which you can order drinks and food

We had booked five rooms and the only hicup was at check in. Unfortunately after having an early morning flight, we had to wait two hours to get our rooms when checking in

Family trip Overall we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were a little smaller than we’re used to, with no mini fridge/microwave. Only one hand towel, no extra pillows or blankets

Had to ask for more towels for our family of four because they only had two. But overall size of room was ok because we were not in our room most of the day

Clean rooms/friendly staff/ good breakfast. Walls are very thin so you will hear everytime neighbor takes a phone call at 5am on speakerphone like mine did everyday. Not the hotels fault just terrible neighbors

The Staff is very kind and they offer our group the best service. The location is fantastic and the parking is free. The continental breakfast buffet was okay.

Highly recommended This hotel is in walking distance to the Mercado and lots of restaurants! You can easily also find food stands plus lots of stores

Amazing hotel with small flaws, best staff My wife and i stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Our goal was to be in the center and walking distance to many great places and restaurants in Oaxaca Centro

The hotel is a mix between modern and traditional. There is a great restaurant on too of the hotel and a bar on the ground floor. There were only minor flaws in the room, that i wanted to point out

You step out of the door and you are in the middle of the action. But i have to say the rooms are super quiet. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. They always greet you with a smile

I have to say, that we were so happy with this hotel. 2 minutes from the main plaza (zocalo), 3 minutes from the mercados, and walking distance from many great restaurants

We only went for spa services 2 facials. The girls that work there are super sweet but we didn't speak Spanish so after numerous questions got my boyfriend on the phone to translate

Good thing because we paid for 2 facials and learned the can only do 1 at a time. One of us choose a pedicure instead. My pedicure was ok different than what I'm used to in the us

We didn’t stay here but did pay for a day pass to the pool. 220 pesos per adult and 160 per kiddo, with about 2/3 going toward food at their restaurant. The pool is clean, with a shallow kid area

We visited to use their pool on a couple really hot days in Oaxaca. Very affordable, 180 pesos each with 140 going towards your food bill. We had delicious club sandwiches and a pitcher of agua fresca

Stayed here for dia de los muertos for a week. This was the closest hotel i could get to town. I would stay here again just for the pool, but the wifi was kindof a dealbreaker

Pool was refreshingly cold, had the place to ourselves most of the day. Grounds were well kept & clean

It was pretty unusable, not only for work but for general use. I'd come back just for the pool

After exploring Oaxaca Centro, we found Hotel Dorado online as a nearby spot to enjoy some pool time. It was just a short walk away, and for 300 pesos pp flat fee, which included access + food and drinks credits

Great location, walkable to all the main attraction. There is a 24/7 convenience store around the corner. Staff is helpful they scheduled taxi to take us to airport early in the morning. Rooms are basic but comfortable

Excellent Hotel!!! Centrally located near lots of shopping, dining and entertainment options. Staff was friendly and professional. Only bad thing was a group of kids that knocked on our door and ran off at 3am

Only stayed one night, but it was exactly what we needed! Rooms were clean, great location to walk around and explore the heart of Oaxaca. Parking garage within the Hotel was very convenient and safe

We enjoyed out stay at the Fiesta Inn. The room was comfortable and clean. The shower had lots of hot water. We ate dinner and breakfast and they were okay. All in all, good hotel, I would stay here again.

The food was expensive for what it was. Hallways were dark. Plentiful parking. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Arm yourself with plenty of insect repellent…

This hotel is right in the center of town. The rooms were beautiful and beds were decent. the whole hotel has a great rustic colonial vibe

The best thing about this hotel is the location, as it was a few blocks away from the towns main square (Zócalo)

Upon arrival there was an issue with our rooms. But the Front desk manager Francisco Rustria was very professional, friendly and helpful resolving things to our complete satisfaction. They’re remodelling the hotel

Room is clean and cozy, I liked the easy access to everything in town. Nothing was further than 10 minute walk and it was still quiet enough to get some rest after touring all day. Safe and highly recommended.

WiFi was spotty at best and one day there was no water until the evening. Bring your own soap, shampoo and conditioner because what they supply is equivalent to watered down dish soap

A few nights there was a woman moaning in the common area near us until 11:30 pm. Some days staff began cleaning before 7 am and some of their equipment was leaning against our door

Very noisy! Awful! Our room was situated between the staff cleaning room and their public bathrooms. Every time someone flushed the toilet we heard it in our room

For the price that we paid we expect better amenities and a restful stay, we received neither and would never stay here again

Lovely little hotel in a WONDERFUL location. Staff is all very kind and friendly, the restaurant serves DELICIOUS homey food, and our room was very charming and cozy. The property is also squeaky clean

The hotel is in a more quiet and out of the way corner but still in the heart of everything, and within a 5-10 min walk of some of the best food, bread, specialty coffee, and shopping in Oaxaca

Lovely hotel in very good location and friendly staff. We had a corner room and had some noise from the other rooms above us using the bathroom (there seemed to be a ventilation shaft).

The hotel was in a great location, a few minute walk to downtown. The staff was super helpful and very accommodating to our last minute changes. The rooms were clean and spacious.

The hotel is totally new (remodeled) and clean, wifi is working great at all corners and location is really centric. The only little detail would be that every little noise from the corridor can be heard inside your room

The service was fantastic! I really appreciated how close the hotel was to the zocalo. The only thing I would change is that the executive rooms could have a bit more space and windows.

This is a clean, quiet, centrally located place with very basic amenities, if you are only looking for a place to rest. One of the issues is that rhey don’t have free TV, you’ll need to use your Netflix / apple etc

The swimming pool is great after being out in the hot sun. The staff was really wonderful— very helpful and always friendly. Doors could be wide open and there were no bugs

Hotel de la Parra was excellent in many ways. It was off season so we enjoyed quietness and the service. Swimming in the pool was tranquil in the hustle of busy city center. Ever staff was cordial and responsive

Our room was air conditioned so we were able to relax and enjoy the stay any time of the day. We enjoyed excellent breakfast offered at the courtyard. All in all, we would reuse the hotel next time we visit again
