room was always clean, maid service was excellent and very attentive to our needs. Air conditioning was adequate, some difficulty in adjusting temperature. Showerhead had a leak on the side and squirted water towards the wall. In room 242.

This is a really beautiful newer hotel in Oaxaca. It’s away from noise but easily walkable to the city center. The rooms were quiet and had an amazing shower. Beds were super comfortable. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Food was good, but there are better options. The only thing I wish they had was a male therapist at the spa But a really great hotel.

Elegant and immaculate. Friendly and helpful staff. Didn’t try the restaurant or room service because there were so many excellent dining options nearby.

We received an upgrade for our room, it included free breakfast and free beverages and food in the afternoon. The room was very comfortable. The beds amazing.

Good hotel for a one time stay

Other than the shower being built in next to the toilet our stay was great just take the garbage and toilet paper out before you shower . If you are going during cold weather you may want to take another blanket. There is no ac or heater. But that is normal for Mexico.

The staff was great! I will give 5 stars to Lisbeth! She was accommodating in every sense of the way. The place needs an upgrade, overall. But if you want a place to go to sleep and that is it, then look no further. The facility is clean. You can shower with hot water. The bed is decent. There are no bugs.

Noisy, so it's better to stay on the 3rd floor, and towards the back. Also, as a suggestion to the management, it would be awesome to have at least one channel in English. The coffee and drinkable water was very welcome. I certainly would go back.

Beware if you booking the room may not look like the one on the picture.I booked two rooms one was like the one on the picture and the second was terrible, I couldn't believe that was an option, but the staff found me an other one.

This is the minimum you will get in terms of hotel. Don’t expect wonders and you’ll be fine

Ended up staying here for a night while on a trip with my wife for a best friends wedding but Amazing service I could not be more satisfied from start to finish even after. Very good location, beautiful view and large gardens that are worth exploring, in my opinion the only thing I would add is a gym. From there everything was excellent, we loved it and of course we would stay there again.

The hotel was amazing, so much history in those walls and lovely gardens. The staff was attentive and friendly. A special mention to Roberto at the front desk who's sense of humor and helpfulness was outstanding. The packets of chocolate every night was a special treat!

Went with my husband and teenage daughter over new years 2025/6. Absolutely loved it—the location, the staff, the cleanliness, the pool, the courtyards. One note, we had a room w 2 full beds—and the beds for my husband and I were a bit small even though we are both lean. But we made it just fine. We would absolutely return!

The rooms were in good condition and the history of the hotel was amazing. However, for me, paying ove 2,000 for a weekend was way too much money. It's not like we were in Downtown Manhattan. Sorry! as beautiful as the town was, paying that kind of money was just not worth it.

The location is convenient, the receptionists are all lovely, and they can help you book a taxi, which arrives almost instantly! Their English is also quite good, so communication is not a problem. You can also book tours from travel agencies here, as there are staff members stationed here.

Fantastic stay and they also they offer a shuttle service which was great if you needed to run short distances. The roof top was amazing which you can order drinks and food. We had booked five rooms and the only hicup was at check in. Unfortunately after having an early morning flight, we had to wait two hours to get our rooms when checking in. The staff was very friendly. The only problems were that the shower curtain was too short which didn’t keep the water inside the shower and the hair dryer/electrical outlet was not working.

Pretty much anything you need is near by.

Courteous staff, clean room, and the complimentary breakfast was quite good Walking distance from the Centro Historico and Barrio Jalatlaca. Excellent dining options nearby, as well as food markets. My one dislike is that the room and bathroom were too compact. But overall good for the price.

We didn’t have free breakfast, but for the price was aceptable

Unfortunately,I was there for four nights! There was no hot water. Water in sink got warm, but shower never. They had a sign to conserve water, but you had to run the shower for ten minutes before it barely was warm. After the first day, I ended up taking sponge baths from the sink!

It was across the street from the auditorium Guelaguetza, which is why we went to Oaxaca, so it was perfect! I was pleasantly surprised with how clean they left it every day, I wasn’t expecting them to clean it.

Room was in need of better maintenance. A lot of scuff marks on walls and bed was hard and uneven.

This is my favorite hotel. I love it! Been coming here for 5 years now. I almost don't want to recommend it so there's space available for me whenever I come (I come 10 times a year). The staff is so accomodating. They're just the best.

The service was excellent. The amenities are clean, pleasing to the eye, wonderful artwork in the hotel. I did get good night sleep although there is street noise so if you’re a light sleeper, make sure you have earplugs.

It's 20+ minutes from the heart of the city, very noisy but clean and great views if you go up to the terrace. It's very difficult to find as GPS will send you to a totally different location. The staff were the best part of my stay here. Made friends with the two night receptionists and even hung out with them separately. The place is gated and very safe.

My husband and I loved this hotel. When you step into the hotel from the busy city, you are suddenly in a peaceful, relaxing oasis. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful place to watch the sunset and enjoy some guacamole and cervezas. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

After exploring Oaxaca Centro, we found Hotel Dorado online as a nearby spot to enjoy some pool time. It was just a short walk away, and for 300 pesos pp flat fee, which included access + food and drinks credits. We had the entire place to ourselves for the afternoon, and the staff were friendly and accommodating! Definitely more a 3 star hotel as to what is noted on Google.

We didn’t stay here but did pay for a day pass to the pool. 220 pesos per adult and 160 per kiddo, with about 2/3 going toward food at their restaurant. We had a great day. The pool is clean, with a shallow kid area. Exactly what the whole family needed.

Stayed here for dia de los muertos for a week. This was the closest hotel i could get to town. I would stay here again just for the pool, but the wifi was kindof a dealbreaker. It was pretty unusable, not only for work but for general use. The pool is great though. I'd come back just for the pool

We visited to use their pool on a couple really hot days in Oaxaca. Very affordable, 180 pesos each with 140 going towards your food bill. We had delicious club sandwiches and a pitcher of agua fresca. Pool was refreshingly cold, had the place to ourselves most of the day. Grounds were well kept & clean. Great service & attention.

This is actually a hostel, but its location is great. It's a five- or six-minute walk from the ADO bus station. There's an OXXO convenience store downstairs. All the attractions are within walking distance. However, the room facilities are much more basic compared to hotels; it's more of a high-end hostel.

This was a wonderful, centrally located and quiet spot to stay; it's really easy to walk to Centro from this location. Mario at the front desk was awesome - very helpful and professional. The front desk staff speak perfect English and the housekeeping staff take extra care in ensuring everything stays clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Only stayed one night, but it was exactly what we needed! Rooms were clean, great location to walk around and explore the heart of Oaxaca. Parking garage within the Hotel was very convenient and safe. The only downfall was the noise level we could hear within the halls in our room. Other than that it was great!

We had a wonderful stay, service is outstanding and staff goes above and beyond to support guests. Room had AC which was nice and the beds were clean and comfortable. Shower pressure was on the low side but we could live with that. Will definitely come back.

The location of the hotel is very good, although it has many details that make it expensive for what it offers, such as the very hard beds, the rooms smell bad, you can hear everything from the other rooms and some of the employees are very rude

Great location, walkable to all the main attraction. There is a 24/7 convenience store around the corner. Staff is helpful they scheduled taxi to take us to airport early in the morning. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Shower do get really wet.
