I booked a week but only stayed 3 nights because the shower in my room had an open shaft that opened to the apartment above. The tenants above left their window open so tons of mosquitos came in my room. I was uncomfortable taking a shower because the men that lived above could easily look into the shower. Plus I could hear them talk, cough, fart, etc.lovely way to wake up. I asked them to refund a couple of nights. They said it was up to booking.com. I wrote them also and never heard from them.

The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is in the center of the city, walking distance from everything. Good that it has AC. The shower was a bit small. The room was noisy from the street and you could hear everything from the hallway. The quality of the toiletries provided wasn't great, there wasn't any conditioner.

The hotel was nice but the staff were the issue. I felt watched my whole stay there. They would come to my room to complain that there was an extra guest in my room. I told them they were just here to use the restroom and we were leaving but they were trying to raise an issue for us.

Great Location, But Noisy and Lacking Amenities
The location was great, but the walls were extremely thin, and I could hear people talking late into the night, making it impossible to sleep. Soundproofing is definitely needed. The amenities were minimal—there was no kettle or refrigerator in the room, so I couldn’t make tea or store takeout food. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay, this might not be the best choice.

The service was fantastic! I really appreciated how close the hotel was to the zocalo. The only thing I would change is that the executive rooms could have a bit more space and windows.

The hotel is totally new (remodeled) and clean, wifi is working great at all corners and location is really centric. The only little detail would be that every little noise from the corridor can be heard inside your room. Not a big deal since is familiar time friendly. Nothing that can damage the service and attention level.

The host was unavailable, so I couldn’t check in. I ended up having to book another place instead.

Delicious food at breakfast, with great options for vegans (tofu scramble and organic soy milk), and organic salads, lovely service, set inside a peaceful courtyard. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you!!

A really sweet cafe with options for vegetarians, vegans (one option, at least!), and omnivores alike. Delicious, and perfect portion size (filling, but no leftovers).

Was really excited to try this place, but wasn't impressed enough to want to return. The service was very slow - to the point where we skipped out on ordering dessert because it would have taken another 30 minutes at the rate everything else was going. Ordering food was also more difficult than it should have been. I tried to order a beer from their menu, they didn't have it, I ordered an appetizer, they didn't have it, I ordered one of their specialties, and disappointingly they did not have it!
Minor detail, but they set our table with paper napkins while other tables had cloth napkins - not sure if they ran out or what, but that's tacky for a nice restaurant. The restaurant doesn't appear to be popular with locals as it was filled with just gringos.

Salad - Organica - this was good, but again nothing that interesting.
Main - Black Mole - this was great. Had a little sweetness, spice, and smoke. Good overall balance of flavors.

Lovely modern and light take on Oaxaca cuisine in contemporary surroundings, make sure to order the dessert flan before the end of your meal to avoid disappointment....
