The hostel is located 7-10 walking minutes to the old town. There are grocery shops nearby. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There is a spacious outdoor area with tables and outdoor kitchen. What I really disliked were the cats. They were constantly staying around the kitchen and waiting for food, getting on the tables, etc. The bathroom was ok, the beds are comfortable. Cheap hostel with a lot of potential. Bathrooms are disgusting tho. No cosy atmosphere, but it could easily turn into such a cosy one. Overal, I can't complain after.paying only 15€ night during high season

It was very simple and not väl organized. The kitchen was outside. I had to carry all my panniers and bags to the second floor. The lower bunkbed didn't have space for me to really sit upright, even I am short. In addition to that, there were some bars under the upper bed, where I easily (😉) banged my head. The toilet with shower was also simple and only one for around 10 beds.

We spent SIX weeks here! We had such a great time! Ali is amazing and also Nero the cat. They have a nice kitchen fully equipped and everyone cooks and shares food. Standard hostel. Room is decent wuth functioning bathroom. There is kitchen you can use and paid laundry is available. Location is between main bus station ad the old town. Aroungd 15 minutes walk to each of them.

Pleased with the cost! The room is clean, has hot water, air conditioning with heating (great for winter), wifi is sometimes good catches and in the room. Near cafes and shops, convenient Parking.

Stayed in June 2015 in a mixed room for 4 persons. Thanks to the owner Oksana! For your price tag this is the best hostel Budva, and maybe all of Montenegro. Friendly staff, clean hostel, in heart of old town, comfortable, toilets and bathroom not separate, long winding steps to get upto rooms from tiny lobby, old town Budva did not have any water for almost 2 days, for toilet, drinking, or anything, quite frustrating for all travellers, and staff didn’t like us asking about it.town undergoing construction works so roads off limits sometimes.

Fantastic hostel in a brilliant location. It was quite social even though on this occasion we didn't make friends. I'd have loved to stay longer and definitely would want to return. The beds were so so so comfortable with curtains - these were the first curtains we experienced in the Balkans. Quite cheap too with lovely clean communal areas and bathrooms. Brilliant.

Freedom Hostel is located in such a wonderful spot (Stari Grad,Budva), and the accommodation was maintained very well. Special thanks to Vladimir, he helped us a lot during the whole stay in the hostel.

The restaurant of this hotel is delicious, honestly, it was awesome, fresh, tasty and full of different flavour! And it's always a pleasure when you finally find something different in Montenegro. Also the staff is really welcoming, lovely, and proud of their kitchen and i understand why.

The hotel is very new, some things will settle down over time. The sea view is incredibly beautiful.

For 7 days they never cleaned the room and did not take out the garbage (we took it out ourselves), of course, not a problem, but ... The view from the window is insane! Rooms clean and spacious. You just need to cross the bridge over the street to find yourself on the beach. Good location, staff member was polite and engaging. Bought a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced. Terrace not very well lit. A youth carrying a makeshift weapon came onto the terrace and asked my wife and I if we had any money, he was stared out and told no before leaving. Also witnessed pickpockets in operation just outside, they were rumbled.

Had breakfast with friends here menu and food are good. Fresh orange juice and good coffee. Waiter was good and we spent a lovely relaxed Sunday morning. Beautiful hotel and clean. We tried to book for dinner but it was booked out. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel is 10 minutes walk from Slovenska beach. Rooms are pretty spacious, but it could be much cleaner, there was no soap, hairdryer and towels had some spots but seemed clean. The staff at the reception and kitchen was very nice and helpful. Food was excellent!

Domestic cuisine at a symbolic price.

Spent 3 nights in this hotel during the Easter holidays. The room was a living and bedroom combo with ensuite bathroom and a small kitchen in the living room, plus a spacious balcony. The receptionists were very kind and helpful, the only staff I met during my stay. Maybe due to the holidays, but the cleaning service was minimal during my stay. There is only a very small lobby and no breakfast room...

Good location is the only plus. If you go there just for an overnight stay, then ok. The villa has a lot of small jambs that can be easily fixed and everything will be ok. Small ants in the rooms bit us. Old bed linen that hasn't been changed once in a week. Dirty old towels that have not been changed for a week. After reading the bad reviews I was very worried about going. We rest with a child of 3 years on the 4th floor overlooking the mountains. The location is good, it takes about 10 minutes to go to the sea, the road is gentle, it does not exhaust (even a child). On the way to the beach cafes and shops, very convenient. Check-in: there were problems, the rooms were not ready, they waited about an hour...

Excellent location The only problem we had was finding it as we were walking from the Bus Station and there appears to be a lack of street signs in Budva. Now we know it is located behind the Gufo hotel and by Fortuna Hotel and Gastronomy. It is within easy walking distance of the TQ Centre. We have stayed here for one week. The apartment was very modern and clean and huge. Unfortunetly the balcony wasnt good to sit out. It was surrounded by other houses. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best was the pool in this apartment. Never was cowded and its a children magnet. Not so far from the beach and a big IDEA shop is not so far from the apartment. Everythig was new and luxury...
