Hotel Sara in Kotor

The hotel has a lot of rules, not outside food in the private beach area or courtyard area and there are not many good restaurant options in walking distance.
The only real complaint I have is that there was no running water on our second day! I immediately called the reception at 7:00am once we realized this. But no one answered. I got dressed and went to the lobby to inquire if they were aware and the receptionist replied “yes, we know, this happened 2-days ago, it should be back on later.” I asked later like when? In an hour or two? She said “no more like 5-6 hours”. I asked if they had a reservoir or a tank or any water we could use to brush our teeth or shower before our check-out at 10am. And she shrugged her shoulders and said it’s not our fault and there’s nothing I can do. So, I acknowledged that the city losing water access is out of their control, but providing basic water to paying customers would be a courtesy they should consider. I asked if she could please bring a few bottles of water to the room so we could brush our teeth and freshen up. Which she promptly did.
