La Villa Boutique Hotel in Budva

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in late September 2023. I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. I was in room 1 that had beautiful views of the marina, bay, and mountains. The hotel is in the Old Town, on the marina side, which is very convenient and easy to walk to different touristy sites. My room unit was very spacious with a separate and comfortable living room area. The unit was very clean, modern, and nicely decorated. Some included amenities were a small refrigerator, blow dryer, coffee/tea maker, & 2 TVs with many English language channels. The wi-fi was free and worked very well. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept very well each night. The staff was professional, friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. Breakfast was included and very good and plentiful. The only downside to this hotel is that the entire building had an odd unpleasant smell. Once you are in the room for a while, you don’t notice the smell. Unfortunately, the smell of the building stuck to my clothes, hair, and all my belongings. I need to wash my clothes multiple times with laundry detergent and apple cider vinegar to try to get rid of the odor. This is a very unpleasant and disturbing way to end my vacation. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay there again.
