My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week. To begin, the staff were incredibly polite with great recommendations for local restaurants and always willing to help with things like excursions, taxis, etc. The scenery of the hotel was incredible, pool very clean and the location was great as we expected to be a 10 minute drive from kotor old town. This hotel is very cute and located in the middle of old town. Very easy to get around. Even though it is on the main walking road, it is very quiet and we didn’t have problems sleeping. The location is a little hard to find, Amap (Tantu offline map) navigation will be wrong, and finally Google Maps is the solution. There are parking spaces inside, although not many, but generally enough.

I only ate food here, it was delicious. I had the tuna salad, made with fresh tuna! My sister ordered the fish of the day, it came as a whole fish. Our server saw she didn't know how to clean it, and cleaned it for her, which was much appreciated! Excellent service.

Honeymooned here while my wife and I stayed in Kotor. Super friendly staff, they were gracious enough to make my wife and I a couple of packaged lunches when we had to leave early in the morning the drive to Dubrovnik, Croatia for a morning flight back home. Good hotel with a cosy hospitality. The staffs so helpful and kind. They even call me ahead of time that there were storms and they waited us to arrive and help us to settle ourselves. I have never been to such a great hotel... (well, but) The room is 110%, as is the service. The location is not relevant at night. Beautiful luxurious room, bathroom, breakfast, free underground parking - for so much money, for free. If it is completely ready, then the 5⭐ is easily deserved.

Good hotel overall, the view from the room was great, you can see the airport and the Tivat Bay, the pool area has a great view, music plays and the bar is open. You can also use the sauna. The cleaning service could be improved a bit, otherwise everything is fine.

The staff here are like that from a 5 star hotel. They are so friendly and kind. They will do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I was very satisfied with Hotel Vardar. The rooms are very large and I had a beautiful view of the square and the walls. The breakfast was plentiful with many choices. In the maze of Kotor Old Town, this hotel is easy to find as it’s near the sea gate. I didn’t have any issues with noise, as others have reported, at the time of my visit. Highly recommend.

We loved our two nights at Hotel Vardar. The staff were very accommodating and upgraded us to a balcony room with great views of the square. The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. It was also remarkably well sound proofed. We enjoyed the use of the gym (there is also a sauna) and complimentary breakfast which had a great range. We would love to come back and stay at Hotel Vardar.

We didn’t stay in the Hotel Varder but we had a wonderful dining experience in the restaurant. Great service, delicious meals with a beautiful setting. By chance we chose to eat lunch at the Varder when exploring the Old City in Kotor Montenegro. My group and I would make the Varder a destination next time in Kotor.

Basically it's good, the room is big, the location is convenient, and the service is OK. But some of the facilities in the room are a bit old, and don't let the hotel call a taxi because the charge is more than twice the normal price.
