Fantastic location in the old town. Staff was super nice and attentive to guests' needs. We got a private room which was clean with a beautiful view of the street below. AC was nice and strong. Breakfast every morning for 6€ and activities for 23€. Boat tour and sunset fort bbq were both great. Would definitely come back.

The best hostel in the Balkans!! I was here as a guest in March and the atmosphere even then in the off season was immaculate, they make sure to take care of you and that you have a fun time even without the summer activities. My group’s stay here was awesome! The front desk staff was very willing to help with any questions we had whether it was travel logistics or any information about the town. They helped us find hikes to do, food to try, and more. The rooms were well maintained and the bathroom was cleaned every day. Highly recommend! Great rooms, great atmosphere. Very fun activities and a great way to meet people. Fun party hostel but rooms are away from the main areas so still very quiet when you get to your room. Common areas were lovely, great view!

Hostel Old Town Kotor is a fantastic place to stay! The hosts and volunteers are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is great for meeting fellow travellers. We booked a private room, which was absolutely fantastic-honestly, it felt more like a hotel room than a hostel! Super comfortable and clean. I had an excellent stay here on my solo trip to Europe. The hostel was very clean and had excellent facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located and close to lots of activities in Kotor. It has a beautiful view. Make sure to stay here when you’re visiting Kotor!

The location is excellent, just outside the old town right on the waterfront. Dorm room was fine, get a lockable drawer each. There was no bin in the room and no way to dry your hands in the bathroom, also there is hardly any privacy to take a shower, only a flimsy shower curtain you can partially see through.

If I were to describe my experience at Hostel Pupa it would be “Great Balkan Vibes”! Kristina and Cevo were such awesome hosts. The staff are your friends, even family. I never enjoyed in an hostel that much before. Very good located, comfortable and clean. They also provide you with all needed information at the check in. No doubts it will be my choice again during my visit to Kotor.

Anyohasaiyo chingus. I loved my stay at your family home in the walled town in Kotor, Montenegro. Its not like a hostel, its just like a pension or minbok in Korea. Very helpful host who shared secret eating spots outside the stone wall. Very clean and quiet during the day. I recommend this hostel for older solo travellers...like me! Kumsumneda!!

Cheap, good location, friendly hosts. Of the minuses - a noisy place - during the day because of the tourists scurrying under the window, at night because of the pub next door. There were also problems with wifi.

Enjoyed my time here. The hosts are very welcoming. Great location right in the heart of the old town.

Stayed for 2 nights at this hostel. The man who runs it is very nice, friendly & gave information about places to visit in Kotor. And he remembered the names of every guests. The mixed dorm room with 8+2 beds i stayed is nice, clean with windows and 1 bathroom/ toilet that similar with the one in 3-4 stars hotel. Every bottom beds also have 3 sides curtains for your privacy. And 4 power outlets...

Fun hostel in the old city. It is divided up into 2 buildings about 2 minutes apart so for check in reception is on the ground floor; if you are going upstairs you are in the wrong building. Was very clean and quiet as we stayed at the end of peak season. Wonderful people working here and being in the centre of old town was pretty cool.

Very welcoming. The stuff members really made our stay pleasant. They gave us good beds, showed us how to navigate around town, they made us coffee... I would definitely go back here. The place was siper clean too. It's in the excelent place. Very quiet.

I would like to commend the work of the staff - very friendly and helpful. Brand new hostel with a very cozy interior. Each guest has individual lighting and sockets, Wi fi works fine on all floors. such a lovely hostel, owner is very kind and the view is so beautiful. the lake is literally in front of the hostel . You can swim and chill even at night. there is restaurant very close from the hostel. you can rent a bike and go to old town, just about 5 minutes rides. if you just arrive at the bus station, it will take about 40 minutes of walking

Great hostel! Clean, with nice showers and access to a kitchen. Amazing LOCATION with a great area for swimming and chilling out by the seaside. The owner is absolutely incredible! He is so kind and so so very helpful. I an not say enough great things about him. He helped me when I was sick and was really helpful giving me tips of what to do and see while in Montenegro. Very relaxed hostel. It's right next to the sea, well equipped and the owner is very relaxed with check in and check out times. It was no problem that we arrived after 10pm. Guests can also stay all day at the hostel after check out and use bath and shower. Free parking right in front of the house was also included. The house is a bit old and grubby, but bathrooms and beds are cleaned every day.

This hostel located in a beautiful part of Kotor. The room was clean and comfortable. The host was kind.

Clean, near the sea and you have anything you need to feel welcome. The owner is so friendly and helpful. Recommendations!

I really struggle to understand why this hostel rating is only 4.5/5. I can't fault it. Just awesome. Very warming stuff, and always making activities for people to gather. I just can't wait to be back in such an amazing city, and it can't be anywhere but in this hostel. We stayed only two nights, as it was a short break and we had to go back to Spain, but would have definetely stayed a week longer...

Great hostel with a good social side. The staff are the best here too! The only downside here was that there was just one bathroom for 10 beds so queues to use the bathroom are common. Still highly recommend this place to anyone!

The staff and Djordje were very kind and willing to help! The hostel is a great place to meet people & I recommend for solo travelers because of all of the activities. There is AC and a full kitchen. Great location- walk out of the hostel onto the Bay, 10 minute walk to Old Town, and 18 minute walk to the bus station.

Had such a beach blast my few day reservation turned into a week. The property is directly on the beach so you can soak in the ocean all day then SEND IT on the bar crawls at night One of the most social hostels I've been to. Feels like partying with a huge group of friends the whole time. Just remember it's better to look good than to feel good!

Ok hostel, not great. For this area cheap and great location. Communication is good.

Price is ok. No reception, the host roams about the house from now and then and you have to be lucky to find him, otherwise you have to call him. There is only one bathroom and it's not very clean. It's quite close to the center, about 15min walk.
