Really great experience all around. I missed a flight and showed a few days later and staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating despite my late arrival. The location and building itself is very cozy. Inviting common spaces, and really clean facilities. Their high rating is well deserved.
Old Town Hostel Kotor is one of those places that just gets it right. Great rooms, very clean, super central location inside the old town, and beautiful views that don’t get old. Everything is walkable and the atmosphere is relaxed, not forced. The crew really makes the difference. Milan is incredibly helpful and always around if you need anything. Diego is an awesome cook – the cheap communal dinners...
We went in winter to escape the crowds while still enjoying the town and beautiful scenery. The heater works very well and there are extra blankets when needed. It was a great little home base while exploring and cozy to stay in when the weather got too heavy.
An excellent location and a really social atmosphere! I felt very welcome here, and the staff were very responsive to all of our questions during our stay.
Really great place to stay, staff were great and went above and beyond, bbq was a great night too! 100% recommend this place for a great time!
Loved this place!!!! So much to do, many activities put on! All great! Highly recommend if you’re in the area! Staff are great too!

Top tier hostel
Some great members of staff and volunteers who made my stay that much more enjoyable.
Rooms are brilliant and one of the best mattresses I've slept on in a hostel.
Showers and toilets are super clean. The entire hostel looks brand new honestly.
It's an amazing place that I recommend to anyone.
It's social but you can go off and have your own space if need be 👌
Top tier hostel experience. Comfy beds with curtains for privacy, which is always a bonus. Separate bathrooms for men and women, and always clean. But the most important part was it quickly became a home away from home. Nina and her staff were so welcoming and gave me the best NYE experience ever. I extended my stay 4 extra days because of this. Also, Kotor is just a beautiful place! I will forever...
The staff are really nice and helpful during my stay in Kotor. The kitchen area is nice and also the common area downstairs. It is a good area to meet other travellers. The hostel is located in front of the water. It is nice to just sit and see the boats. It is a walking distance to the old town, no need to ride a bus. And ut is adjacent to the best bbq place in Kotor. The rooms are with many bunkbeds...
Great location and staff!
Mattresses are comfy (but a little too bouncy) and the room as AC and curtains! Also the bathrooms only have two showers, but I never had to wait. (Also my lock didn't work on my locker so that's too bad)
A little overpriced, but overall I would definitely come back!
One of the best hostels. Heated floors in bathrooms verry clean exeptionaly lovely staff and volunteers with a good kitchen and laundry setup. It's an extremely convenient location and a 2 min walk from amazing bbq
Pupa Hostel is located right in the harbour with easy access to bus terminal, the old town and a favorite swimming spot. It also features very friendly receptionist and a cosy common area with shared kitchen.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at! Great social vibe, the staff were very friendly, and the location is great (close to the old town and nice view of the bay). Special shoutout to Blazo for being so welcoming and happy to help. The pub crawl and drinking games were a blast.
**One of the Best Hostel Experiences!**
I only stayed for a day, but this hostel made a lasting impression. The hospitality was amazing — some of the friendliest people you’ll meet. It’s a very social place, perfect for meeting other travelers, and the staff always have the best recommendations for things to do and events around the city.
The location is super convenient — just outside the city center...
Great hostel with everything you could want! Activities (like pub crawls, kayak, boat tours, BBQ) are organized every day and the location of the hostel is perfect. 10 meters to the beach on a hungover day is all one could want really. The hostel staff is the best and knows all the good spots to go.
10/10 would recommend this place!
best hostel ever!
the staff/volunteers are amazing, they made the experience so fun. if you’re looking for a quiet spot, this is not for you. it’s a party hostel, where everyone goes out every night to two bars, and then everyone sits on the beach until morning (the beach is five steps from the hostel, amazing location). it’s a super awesome way to meet people/make friends and a great experience, it...
Female 20-25 I stayed for a week in Kotor’s best hostel (4U) Everyday was just amazing, to the morning views from the hostel to sunset activities on Sea and pub crawls from dusk till dawn! Super clean, comfy beds fluffy pillows and an amazing space to place your personal items!
Where do I even begin. I’ve stayed in a decent amount of hostels and I can say that this was my favorite experience yet. The entirety of the staff/volunteers were incredibly kind and fun, making my experience unforgettable. The hostel itself was quite nice as well. I found the bed to be very comfortable, it also included curtains which is always a bonus. Bathrooms did the job. Awesome hangout area...

Any negative review is just complaining about the distance. Let me tell you.. the distance is a huge plus!! No cruise tourists anywhere. This hostel is fantastic. It's quiet but still socialable. Everything is clean and well maintained. The family who owns the place is very welcoming and great hosts. If you're nervous about the distance, you can rent bikes for your stay from a nearby shop. It's also...

I would echo everyone who has left a 5 star review of this hostel. My partner and I had an ideal experience here. Some may consider the distance from Kotor a drawback, but with the fact that it’s right on the water (with access) and a short and cheap bus ride from old town, I don’t see it as an issue. We hardly wanted to leave the dock in front because the views were so stunning. Sandra and her husband...

Sandra was such a great host. Stranger Tides Hostel on Dubrota, just in the outskirts of Kotor, is a fantastic hostel. It is right on the water, which makes for the perfect opportunity to swim the minute you wake up in the morning. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms and bathrooms are clean. The shared kitchen was spacious, and has everything you need. Sandra had great recommendations from the...
Stranger Tides is possibly the nicest and most comfortable hostel that I have ever stayed at! The rooms are clean, with AC and places to store your belongings safely, and the bunkbeds are constructed in a way that gives you privacy even in a 6 beds room. The kitchen is big and equipped with everything you would need. I quite enjoyed the garden also! Dont be scared by the location, there are the blue...

Centrum is central of Old Town! Easy to get to with lots of shops around.
Great communal kitchen and dining room for sharing adventures and food. Central also means you see hear clearly. Staff went out of their way for me! 2 Thumbs Up!😊
Really comfy beds. Everything was super clean. Felt more like a hotel than a hostel, albeit there are common areas (kitchen, living room). We were there during off season, so not many people which suited us just fine. It's right in the middle of the old town.
One of the best hostels I stayed in in Kotor.
Sandra was the nicest person ever, she made my check out super smooth, she gave me a locker to store my belongings until taking my night bus, not only but also gave me full access to the hostel to use its facilities without any extra charge, I also used her advice a lot on what to do and where to go.
As for Ivan, upon check-in he threw in PLENTY of ideas...
An amazing hostel in Kotor ! Felt like a 5* hotel.
So comfy, clean, private, quiet and with very knowledgable staff!
We felt so safe and at home here!
Amazing hostel. Friendly traveler vibes. Staff were so lovely, helpful and had all the tips for the town! One of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Great beds and they provide lockers and keys, towels and soaps. Central location in the old town. Great common room and kitchen also. Not a party hostel but great for solo and small groups!
This hostel is located in a VI century building and has a perfect location, great staff and is very clean and tidy. They also have lockers where you can leave your stuff after you check out. Highly recommend.

I look back to such a warm stay at Hostel Anton. What stood out to me is the staff. Very laid-back, chill and social atmosphere exactly the way it's supposed to be in my opinion. The beds are good, the room is okay and clean. The views you get are amazing.
Stayed in private room, clean and warm. Staff are excellent and very helpful.
Location is very good as it is close to center and a few minutes by foot.
Enjoyed my stay very much, specially liked the spontnious party in lobby with all the guests and staff.
Rodrigo and the other employees were super friendly and helpful. The hostel has a really good vibe where you can chill at the living room in the first floor with couches and a pool table or enjoy the view at the rooftops. The bedrooms and bathrooms were simple but good, with plenty of plugs for charging. Good Wi-Fi. Everything is in a walking distance from 5 to 25 minutes walk you can find markets...
People who low-rate this hostel should take a more realistic perspective and take other factors into consideration as well. Honestly, I stayed in hostels across North America, Europe and the Balkans and everywhere I went had to consider local issues affecting accommodation. Long story short, this is Montenegro, rather different social setting one should understand. While it is true that rooms could...
Fair. Friendly welcome. Private rooms a bit depressing. Location okay, parking. Quick walk into town, cheap and cheerful, nice common/bar area with a rustic atmosphere, lots of cats and a crappy pool table which is better than no pool table! Wifi quite inadequate for doing anything of substance!!
Hostel Anton is one of the best hostels I've visited so far. First of all the staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms, toilets and kitchen -- everything is very clean. The social area is great, you can play pool, poker or chess (if you manage to make a board for chess ;)). The design is remarkable: a lot of old stuff from old days (before internet)), artistic decorations, creative signs...

Amazing host! Amazing location. No need to hesitate.
An excellent place for an overnight stay and for a long stay in Kotor (Old town). The apartments are located in the old town. Cool hostess always ready to help!)
Great location. Very friendly received. Room was quiet and clean.
Large, beautifully restored room with good facilities and friendly staff. Good location within the city walls.
But: mattress far too soft, shower very small and big problems parking near the accommodation (either everything is parked or significantly too expensive)
It is a wonderful place both in terms of its location and the facilities it provides. We would especially like to thank Olga, the manager of the business, for her caring and helpful approach.
Awesome place. The hostess is Russian. Such a friendly, attentive. Everything will tell you and show. The hotel is in the heart of the old city - live music is heard around restaurants, foreigners are around. It is possible to go down in the morning and immediately at the local restaurant to have breakfast for 5 € if you are a guest of this hotel. Come here for sure. You will never regret. One of the...
