Don't waste your money or time staying here!
The general attitude of staff was off from the start and did not feel welcoming.
We booked a 6 bed room but was given a 10 bed room, luckily the other people in our room were lovely.
The room smelt damp and the bathroom was not only not clean but to a very basic standard and not looked after, the shower head was not attached to the wall, and the toilet roll holder was hanging off.
It was a self cleaning bathroom but there were no cleaning supplies for guests to clean.
We were not told that our room keys did not unlock the main door in the evenings and was not given the code so we were locked out until one of the other guests told us the code on the group chat.
We were not given a key to all of our lockers so we had to share.
We signed up for the sunset kayak tour which was overbooked so 2 of us had to use paddle boards, this shouldn't have been an issue but didn't set a good tone when he laughed and pointed in my face when he said i would have to use a paddle board.
We were not sent out with a guide, simply told to go 'down there'. On the way back it was pitch black and became dangerous as boats on the river were not able to see us and none of us really knew where to go or what to do.
There was no one waiting for us back on the beach, when someone did come we were moaned at for putting the boats in the wrong place even though we were not told what to do. We were simply sent out on boats with no guide or instructions.
The pub crawl was fun and a great chance to meet the other lovely guests however was not like other fun organised pub crawls, the member of staff that came with us was clearly bored from the start.
We cannot work out the price we payed as we feel we over payed, I was told we would get emailed a receipt with the breakdown after check out but a week later we still have not received that email.
Upon checking out we were told there was some kind of reward if we left a positive review, this explains why it has such high ratings on review sites.
The location of this hostel is great but you only have to read other reviews and responses to see why you should avoid this place.

Booked a room there. Asked if I'll have a private bathroom at the time of booking. They said yes. When I arrived, I got placed into a worse room than the one I booked - but for the same price. I left after 1 night because that other room was so bad.

They charged for the full length of stay, and denied that they had that email conversation with me - even though I have proof of those emails.

I don't recommend going anywhere near that hostel, unless you don't care about your accomodation at all.
