Where to stay in Podgorica

I couldn’t sleep all night because I saw a lot of spiders and bugs in the toilet. I think the management really needs to work on cleaning and fixing the bathroom. The next day, I noticed that the staff came to the apartment, but nothing was cleaned. The breakfast for both nights was exactly the same, no difference at all. However, the staff were nice and helpful.

Great location, fabulous staff, nightclub over the road so if you want to sleep early be aware. Breakfast was plentiful if basic, curtains very thin.

This place was ok. Location obscure, central but down a track that isn’t immediately obvious. Room alright with most stuff you need but a few bits in the bathroom were broken. The owner tries to do all, she is very sweet and polite but of course not all can be covered by her and that has impact on overall impression

We paid less than 100 euros total for two nights (including breakfast). Pros: the staff working at reception were very helpful. The place is good, with good views from the rooms and restaurants. The only problem is that you have to self check-in option in the evening and I didn’t find enough lighting the front door as well as in the approach road. The restaurant is fantastically located in the bank of river Moraca for morning and afternoon foods.

Good hotel for two stars. I stayed in hotels of about the same level but 4 stars. Comfortable beds, spacious room. One night cost 40 euros.

It was a great place for 21 Euros with a great air conditioning and hostels run 16 Euros with no air conditioning. Wish I found it sooner. Beds were great, rooms clean.

The hotel itself is nice, clean and recently renovated, but I could not sleep because of the loud music outside which went on till around 2am. If you plan to sleep at night, you probably should stay elsewhere.

Nice hotel in central Podgorica, helpful receptonists, moderate price, average breakfast. The attractive feature is that it is located just in middle of a pedestrian dicrrict where the "movida" of the Montenegrine capital takes place.

We stayed here in October. The staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms are spacious, clean and new. We had dinner at the onsite restaurant and after 4 weeks in Montenegro it was one of our best meals with an exceptionally professional waiter ( without any pre-tense). I highly recommend.

Very comfortable hotel, with very friendly staff. There is a free garage downstairs, which is a big advantage. There’s also a bar and a restaurant on the ground floor. Prices are reasonable, and I’d be happy to come back again. Breakfast also offers a wide variety of options.

Bed wasn’t ready Our flight from Podgorica was cancelled late at night so we booked a room here at the last minute as it’s a 15 min drive away from the airport. What a nice surprise to be greeted by a receptionist who speaks better English than you hear in much of England, T We had a suite, which was helpful, even for tourists such as ourselves. A wide car might struggle to get through the archway into the internal car park but there seems to be plenty in the area. Would we stay there again? Definitely.

We were in Podgorica for one night while travelling around the former Yugoslavia. Our room was a large and modern suite and was very impressive. We went down to the swimming pool and spa and we had it all to ourselves which was nice and the facilities were excellent. We were very impressed! In one of the nicest and quietest areas of Podgorica, I'm lucky to be in one of the nicest rooms, bright almost all day, excellent mountain view, 5 minutes from the center. The service is exemplary, great hosting, friendly like in most Mediterranean countries, one of which I belong to. I recommend it with my eyes closed 🇬🇷🇲🇪🇪🇺

The location is great: walking distance everywhere. Rooms were cleaned really well and my bed was really comfortable. Staff was friendly. There was also small kitchenette to use (water boiler, fridge, tea & coffee available). AC worked well and even my room was facing the main street, noise did not bother. Nothing to complain.

We had one night in Podgorica arriving very late at the airport. The room was just as we need: big and clean, perfect for the 3 of us, even 4 would do. The lady at the check waited for our late arrival with a great smile and amazing professionalism. They also picked us up at the airport and drive us to the place.

We didn’t stay at Hostel Izvor, but we came to meet up with friends and spend some time with our kids – and it was a great experience! Decent hostel, pretty clean, for cheap price. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They also have a restaurant and offer breakfast and lunch (if I remember correctly). Disadvantage is that it is out of Podgorica and you can only get there if you have a car or by taxi.

Wonderful stay with Nikola and his mother in the modern clean apartment by the airport. Nikola was kind enough to offer me a lift to the airport for my 09:30 flight, which I really appreciate. If you need to catch a flight from Podgorica, this is the perfect spot to stay.

Very close to the airport. Helped out with an urgent overnight stay when the flight was canceled. Next to the hostel (7 minutes on foot) is a supermarket that is open until 10 p.m. Clean, tidy, rooms for 2-3 people with separate beds, shower, refrigerator, water, kettle, necessary dishes.

I loved my relaxed weekend at Podgorica, The owner is such a warm and kind person, with great knowledge of the country and city. Volunteers and staff were great too. The garden, turtles, everything made me recharge during those 3 days I stayed there. It is indeed a bit far from the city, but they have buses, not much often during the weekend, but works, and it is worth to stay there.
