Where to stay in Podgorica

I couldn’t sleep all night because I saw a lot of spiders and bugs in the toilet. I think the management really needs to work on cleaning and fixing the bathroom. The next day, I noticed that the staff came to the apartment, but nothing was cleaned. The breakfast for both nights was exactly the same, no difference at all. However, the staff were nice and helpful.

Great location, fabulous staff, nightclub over the road so if you want to sleep early be aware. Breakfast was plentiful if basic, curtains very thin.

This place was ok. Location obscure, central but down a track that isn’t immediately obvious. Room alright with most stuff you need but a few bits in the bathroom were broken. Noise from other guests and the pub outside kept us up. Main negative thing is that the whole hotel smells of cigarettes which isn’t great when travelling with little kids. The owner tries to do all, she is very sweet and polite but of course not all can be covered by her and that has impact on overall impression

This is a great hotel to stay at in Podgorica. It is in a pretty central location so everything is walkable, there are quite a few grocery stores and restaurants in the area, and the hotel was clean and the staff was really helpful and kind. I needed to print a bus ticket and the lady at the front desk helped me out and was so wonderful about it!

The only huge plus of the hotel is its location, 15 minutes walk from the railway station, so you don't have to worry about a taxi, you can stretch your legs a bit. The accommodation is very good and convenient for travel. It is within walking distance of Qianxi Bridge and the church. It is also convenient to stroll on the lively streets at night. It is within walking distance of the bus station. There is a popular check-in restaurant downstairs.

Great place to have a morning coffee with a view of the river. Situated in a quiet area it's perfect for morning coffee routine. The staff is kind and welcoming. Go here to get a morning inspiration or come to do some work. But definitely in the morning!

Good, comfortable hotel. Very large rooms, well equipped and clean. The highlight of stays is having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the beautiful blue river. Ten minute walk to the city centre. Definitely recommend.

Bed wasn’t ready Our flight from Podgorica was cancelled late at night so we booked a room here at the last minute as it’s a 15 min drive away from the airport. What a nice surprise to be greeted by a receptionist who speaks better English than you hear in much of England, T We had a suite, which was helpful, even for tourists such as ourselves. A wide car might struggle to get through the archway into the internal car park but there seems to be plenty in the area. Would we stay there again? Definitely.

We were in Podgorica for one night while travelling around the former Yugoslavia. Our room was a large and modern suite and was very impressive. We went down to the swimming pool and spa and we had it all to ourselves which was nice and the facilities were excellent. We were very impressed! Nice stop in Montenegro. Great setup for short and extended stays. Walking distance to great restaurants with fabulous prices.

Perfect stay. Very clean, spacious room, good breakfast. Reception lady was smiley, very helpful, she helped with all questions we had. I am looking forward staying again in this lovely hotel.

In one of the nicest and quietest areas of Podgorica, I'm lucky to be in one of the nicest rooms, bright almost all day, excellent mountain view, 5 minutes from the center. The service is exemplary, great hosting, friendly like in most Mediterranean countries, one of which I belong to. I recommend it with my eyes closed 🇬🇷🇲🇪🇪🇺

The hotel was excellent, very modern and it meets all quality standards. All the staff were very accommodating and friendly . I asked for a late check-out and they approved it . We stayed here in October. The staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms are spacious, clean and new. We had dinner at the onsite restaurant and after 4 weeks in Montenegro it was one of our best meals with an exceptionally professional waiter ( without any pre-tense). I highly recommend.

Very comfortable hotel, with very friendly staff. There is a free garage downstairs, which is a big advantage. There’s also a bar and a restaurant on the ground floor. Prices are reasonable, and I’d be happy to come back again. Breakfast also offers a wide variety of options.

We had a one-night stay here and the front desk staff was super helpful. They were able to call a cab for us, provide a wake up call and even gave us breakfast boxes to go since we checked out before the buffet opened. We had dinner here the night before and the food was the best in town.

Decent hostel, pretty clean, for cheap price. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They also have a restaurant and offer breakfast and lunch (if I remember correctly). Disadvantage is that it is out of Podgorica and you can only get there if you have a car or by taxi.

Great place. I recommend i hope one day to return. Its clean and quiet. The staff is very helpful and hospital. We had problems with the navigation and arrived at 2 o'clock in morning - still they welcomed us. Also we are with motorcycles its safe and good to rest there. Greetings!

Spacious rooms, nice view and most importantly the nicest staff! They care a lot you feel welcomed and have a nice stay. It’s not a fancy, luxurious place but it’s very nice and also the outside area is great. I’m happy to have seen this place and meet these people. Would definitely book again.

The gate opens to an oasis if friendly calm just like the very best hostels around the world. Definitely a place to stay at in Montenegro. And when you do head to the river by Niagara restaurant, an amazing place to swim.

I came to Podgorica without knowing anything and any question we had he answer in full and then some! Very close to the airport. Helped out with an urgent overnight stay when the flight was canceled. Next to the hostel (7 minutes on foot) is a supermarket that is open until 10 p.m. Clean, tidy, rooms for 2-3 people with separate beds, shower, refrigerator, water, kettle, necessary dishes.

Good location if you have an early flight, they have free rides to airport, 5 minutes away. No A/C in rooms.

Honestly one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at, incredibly spacious and private, far cheaper then any other options of that quality and the best part is the staff. They battled with English yet still a conscious effort was made to include me in conversation and to help me feel settled, I even got free transport to the airport. I will be staying here again.

Sweet little cat, and very nice owners. Only down side is they didn't speak much English and it was very small, so not good for socializing but totally fine if you just need a place close to the airport.
