Fredj Hotel

I was blown away by the hospitality of the staff at this hostel, they went the extra mile to ensure that everyone had a blast. The hostel is in a great spot within walking distance to several different beaches, good dining options, and the exciting night life Punta del Este has to offer.

When I first arrived one of the guys working there, Condor, made me feel right at home. He was friendly made sure to include me in the conversation with his friends and from there on out my stay was awesome. Every day I spent there the hostel staff were friendly and took excellent care of the rooms and common areas. 

In the evenings another staff member, Marcelo, would rally the other travelers to go out and have a great time. He was a great guy and got people excited to be in Punta del Este and really make their stay something special. 

What really makes a great hostel great is the quality of the people who work there and their ability to make their clients feel at ease and create a friendly and fun environment. The Trip Hostel delivers on this in Spades. I won't forget my stay here and when I go back to Punta del Este I definitely will be booking my stay with them again!

It's a great place, it's inside the Old Medina. They have a terrace and you can see the city from there. The only bad thing is that the internet in the room was bad but if you went to the living room it got better.
