Welcomed back by the amazing staff. There re so many who make you feel special from the reception to the hospitality staff they make you feel relaxed straight away. The food is exceptional we went all inclusive which meant we had lunch in the à la carte restaurant. I recommend trying the chef special and you must try the langostinos cocido. Linde and his team looked after us so well. My lovely ladies Maria Jose, Elena , Laura and Carmen who made us laugh everyday. the pool bar staff Ishmael and Marcel kept us hydrated . The lobby bar staff were great too Bertolo always looked after us . The buffet breakfast and dinner is one of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. Juan Jesus seated us and always came to see if we needed anything and the lovely surprise of a bottle of sherry. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds and very clean . I highly recommend and it has one of the best beaches in Spain. W e will return soon.

From the Reception desk to the restaurant and bars, service is just excellent. The housekeepers are lovely, smiling, efficient and polite all the time. The reception area is beautiful, with lots of quiet and comfy settees and a bid TV screen for football lovers. Room is nice and comfortable with a good bed and pillows, chairs and balcony. Food is excellent, both for breakfast and dinner, with lots of varieties for all tastes. I just would like the bar to have some snacks like tapas in the evenings – the only option for dinner was the buffet restaurant. Perhaps half board is a better option – we were only on BB basis – but we are conscious that buffet food for 7 nights can become quite boring. We hired a car – which we recommend – and visited many different beautiful places around. Be aware that the hotel charges 15 Euros a day for parking but it is free to park on the road from October onwards. The Hotel has different musical entertainment every night, which was very good. The only problem is the location – which actually is not hotel’s fault. Yes, you can walk about 10 minutes to reach a precinct with bars and restaurants; however, it is an almost a deserted area with most of places closed in October - not sure about summer. Options for places with food/drinks were very limited. I believe the management is aware that there are not many options for food around but they do their very best to provide good food/drinks and keep you entertained.

Absolutely perfect, beautiful hotel. Everything was flawless and better than expected and it was excellent value for money. The staff are wonderful. The only negative were the birds flying around the breakfast room. For a 5 star hotel which is so clean, it was very surprising to have birds inside in the breakfast room. As someone who has a fear of birds, it was very unsettling and I didn't think it was very hygenic. Aside from this the everything was just fabulous.

We stayed 10 nights at Iberostar Selection Andalucía Playa and enjoyed our time, but the hotel feels more like a four-star property dressed up as a five-star. The food was generally good, though more “cruise ship quality” than fine dining. The meat-grilling station at dinner was a nice touch—they’d cook your steak or pork fresh—but most other dishes were just okay. Breakfast was the biggest letdown. For a five-star resort, the coffee from the machine was terrible, even the cappuccino. You’d expect a good coffee at the very least, but that wasn’t the case here. Service was polite, but not as attentive as you’d hope at this level. Nobody asked how our stay was when we checked out, for example. Still, the staff at dinner were friendly when we interacted with them and helped us choose a nice wine. Room cleaning was quick, though not always thorough. The pools looked stunning, but the large main pool was absolutely freezing—almost unusable unless the day was hot. The smaller heated pool was nice but usually full of kids. Beach access was excellent, and our semi-private pool right outside the room was a real highlight, even if the temperature sometimes fluctuated. We were half-board and took a lot of day trips thanks to the great location. Overall, we had a very nice stay—but compared to other four-star hotels we’ve visited, this one didn’t quite reach true five-star standards.

Second visit to this hotel. Reception facilities and check out all good. Used the Iberostar ap whilst there and found it very good. We could keep a check on our additional spending, check activities, look at all the restaurants and bar menus- so very useful. We are in all of the restaurants except the Cartaria. Bodega was great for lunch as was the pool bar. Only disappointment was the Sea Soul beach restaurant- it was chaotic and the staff were not very pleasant or organised. Took us 20minutes to get the bill and it only appeared when we were heading out of the door. Hopefully just an off day. Food in the evening and breakfast at the buffet restaurant was amazing. Superb location with easy access to the beach and shops. Pools are excellent & enjoyed the Aquafit. Once again used the car park - at €20 a night still very expensive, hence the empty car park- not sure why they don’t discount for people staying more than 7 nights. Enjoyed yet another stay here & if anything the food is better.

exceptional blend of luxury and relaxation, with breathtaking sea view. The service is flawless, we loved every detail, from spa to great buffet. Perfect destination for couples, we will come back next year!

The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. The breakfasts were very good. You had to pay extra for beach beds . Did not expect this and did not feel this was reasonable. The hotel was of a high standard but we feel lacked personality and was a bit clinical although we have to accept that we are not in the majority reading the reviews. There was little in walking distance and resteraunts around about without a car were limited.

This is our 5th stay at the hotel since we discovered this gem! Nothing is too much effort for Anastasia and the team. Food choices are outstanding in both quality and freshness. The rooms are spotless and spacious and the pool area is the perfect place to spend the day relaxing. The staff make the experience 10/10. Nothing is too much effort for them.

As usual, Iberostar was wonderful and this hotel goes above their normal service. The whole week was excellent .The food was top rate, the service you could not fault and the hotel ,spotless. What aa Wonderful week we had and the surroundings and weather was so delightful. You know that Iberostar will never disappoint and this was about the 10th Iberostar we have stayed at. We will be back to this one as there are many places in this area we have to visit. Many thanks to all the staff at this hotel ,you did a Super job .Phil.
