Very nice hotel with Myanmar Culture Theme, large rooms with bathtub built in good quality room services and very friendly staffs. Breakfast was excellent and various dishes to choose from. Free mini bar item daily which you will not get in any hotel ever.

Nice hotel but dark rooms and the access to the room is a long way from the elevator. We were a group of 4 rooms and none had AC setting working: it was either AC on our off but no way to regulate. Breakfast was nicely displayed but not much Western food. Very friendly staff!

Location is good. Next to shopping mall and supermarket where you can buy something. Room is clean. Nice and helpful staff. I struggle call this 5* - more like a 3*. The people are very polite and helpful but it is a very dated hotel, well below the standard for Yangon 5* these days and with a Rosewood opening soon and a Peninsular opposite it cannot compete.

Overall, we enjoyed the service of the staff the most. Our room had lovely views of the city and the Horizon Club did not disappoint. Excellent service quality. Our only concern is that the hotel could use a freshen-up. We stopped in for drinks or dinner at The Strand and Rosewood and their feeling is of luxury is classic, yet contemporary.

Room was spacious and clean. Staying in the club horizon rooms with the club access made the stay much more enjoyable. Staff and professional and genuinely care about the customer. Nothing is to much trouble. Special mention to Goal Lay for exceptional service and helping one of our family members when they were unwell. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Myanmar.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I've had. The service was fantastic. They did everything possible to make sure I was comfortable and did not need anything. The breakfast in the morning was incredibly varied having stations for Japanese, Indian, Western, and more. The rooms themselves were really well taken care of and very comfortable. This hotel I recommend highely! The food and hygiene is very good and every holiday they make more progress than even before. The animation is lovely, every day they have a programme and keep all ages entertained. The manager and boys and girls of the animation are always speaking with all the guests by the pool. Everything was very nicely arranged. Except for the pool when i came to the level where the pool should be. There was smoke everywhere around the pool and it was not a safe experience. In my observation it looked like an electroc cable was melting and causing the smoke

The hotel is located between the airport and Myanmar Plaza, a good location that is convenient for getting to the neighborhood. The room facilities are a bit old, but the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Overall, it's quite worth recommending.

Only spent a night here. Hotel seemed great. Room very comfy with lots of thoughtful touches. Staff very friendly and helpful. One down side was that the lift doesn't go to the third floor (could be an issue for some) and the rain was so noisy on the roof. Floors 1 and 2 wouldn't have this I'm sure.

Rich breakfast and convenient transportation

Really nice view while walking into the room being greeted by the shwedagon pagoda, one thing I really like is that they have a sports channel for people who like watching f1; including me. One thing that I despise is the croissant, it tastes a bit bitter not sure why.. but overall this is a really good place to stay if you want a nice view

If you're looking for a place with nice room and nice breakfast near downtown, here is the best place with fair price. I like the breakfast here and restaurant's menu are fair price with good taste and enough portion. This will be my always choice if I want to take rest in downtown. And 3 minutes walk to 19th street which people well know bar street in Yangon.
