Rose Garden Hotel in Yangon

Careful assessment

I am a student from an English center who experienced taking an exam at Rose Garden hotel. From a distance glance, I was impressed by how marvelous it looked. In the center of a big garden stood a majestic palace. The presence of the building itself was already overwhelming as if I don't belong there. But as I entered the entrance, the red carpet waiting for me by the door made me feel like a royalty.

As a meticulous person, I noticed every details. Everything inside was bedecked skillfully—the most beautiful hotel I've ever been. It had many facilities and restaurants. Despite all these fascinating things I've mentioned, the meal I had there disappointed me the most. It was fried rice that I ordered on the ground floor; it was cold and tasted terrible. The price for a serving was enough to buy two servings from a good restaurant.

I know it is presumptuous of me to compare a hotel and a restaurant but from a prestigious hotel, I expected the food to taste okay if not the best. Apart from this, I was pretty much satisfied about the building and the service. I hope to come there again for another English exam, but I won't lay an eye on your meals any more.
