I had a super stay at the AmarHotel! The warmth and genuine friendliness of the staff made me feel welcome from the very first moment.
The freshly prepared omelette, made exactly the way you like it, was perfect every morning.
And of course, the breathtaking view on the rooftop of the Himalayas made every meal and every moment unforgettable.
A wonderful place — I would love to come back!

Almost like home- running hot water n friendly staff. Spacious rooms, lovely breakfast sitting area at balcony area.
Not fully occupied when we are there so we can pretend its our 'bungalow' n we get pampered.
We only had breakfast, mostly toast n tea/ coffee. We usually had lunch n dinner outside. We will buy milk which the staff will boiled for us b4 sleeping. He will also fill up my hot rubber bottle as there is no heaters in room. Blankets are the the thick quilts stuffed with cotton wool. Weather is lovely n sunny in day time but cold at nite. Hence the rubber hot water bottle for me. The floor in room is not carpeted , so slippers are available on request or availability. We bought our own at Kalimati chowk.

The staff here was very friendly and professional, and eager to help me plan my trip in Nepal however they could. They even sent over a tour organizer to show me different options on hiking the ABC or EBC treks, and when I told him I probably would be going without a guide, he was very friendly and put no pressure on me, and even let me keep his maps!

The staff are amazing. Very kind and accommodating. You can ask about so many things. And the owner is also very curious and helpful.
The environment with all the plants and flowers is extraordinary and walking around in the Hotel makes you wonder if There is new and very different life around the corner. Sitting in the garden eating breakfast is just awakening for your soul and body.
On the downside, breakfast is a little onesided if you don't want bread or if you are vegetarian. And the beds are worn so that sleeping straight is uncomfortable. And many of the facilities are also worn, so don't expect anything New or fresh.
I decided the other day to stop complaining, and maybe that's one of the reasons that this place gets so high rating. I wish you all a phenomenal stay and maybe we Will meet in the future. Ps. The price is reasonable with 25 USD per night for twin bed room.

Hotel is nice to stay. But owner is not that much helpful. Also overcharged for many things and took commission in booking of cab bus ticket way beyond margin

Excellent location and nice view of the town. Staffs are supportive and hospitable. Prices are okay. Sanitation is perfect, rooms are neat and clean. However, food is little bit expensive with VAT and taxes added on the menu.
