A Bittersweet Stay: A Mixed Bag of Experiences
While my stay at Norbu Sangpo offered some positive aspects, it was unfortunately marred by the behavior of the owner.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. The room which I took was spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat. The hotel's green garden was a peaceful oasis, perfect for having breakfast in the morning and for relaxation.
However, the owner's rude and unprofessional demeanor significantly detracted from this overall experience. His absolute lack of hospitality and basic courtesy was more than disappointing.
I stayed at this hotel in the past and recommended it to many of my friends who visited Nepal, but I would not recommend it anymore, unless you are not overly concerned with interactions with the owner.

Best place to stay, quite and peaceful place, good restaurants with best food

We have stayed earlier was so good and friendly atmosphere . Now the bathroom is in pathetic condition, no hot water for shower, intercom phone was not working , blankets was smelling bad. The workers doesn't come when called. This is the job of the hotel owner to look out . .

Lovely courtyard, free WiFi, hot showers, clean, everyone who works here is very helpful, and everyone I've met who stays here is interesting and worth talking to.

Nice place near the stupa, clean rooms and very friendly staff I spent more than a month there to finish my studies. I highly recommend it

I stayed in Norbu Sangpo hotel in August and then again in October 2019. I love this hotel for its serene atmosphere and great location. It is close to Boudhanath stupa yet removed from all the noise and dirt. It is situated in a quiet and calm spot behind white gompa. The staff is very kind and helpful and the garden very beautiful. The whole place is spacious and rooms are neat and clean complete with all necessities at a very reasonable rate. And in case something is missing the staff is happy to help. Food is excellent as well. No doubt my favourite place to stay in Boudha.

We stayed in the norbu sangpo hotel for a week during our visit to Nepal. We can only highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Boudha. It is situated on a generous piece of land, close to the stupa yet quiet and protected from the incessant noise of the city. The rooms are large, bright, well furnished and very clean. Hot water no problem. There is a very beautiful common yard for dining and just enjoying the sunshine. Safety is ensured by a guard 24/7. The staff is very friendly and forthcoming. And the food is excellent. All in all highly recommended.

It was very nice to stay in hotel Norbu Sangpo. The room is very neat and clean. Only one things to improve is to update it little bit. I will definitely stay again in my next trip to Kathmandu.
