I am not a foreigner in Nepali. I was in the hotel yesterday and the hotel was okay from the outside. I had taken a room. The room was not worth the money. And there was no water in the toilet. I requested the hotel staff 5/7 times and they did nothing, so I wanted to write this review.

As foreign make sure you have your own internet with you and more important choose a room away from the street.

I stayed here for over a week and loved the place. The room was not huge but comfortable, clean and very quiet, considering the location. The rooftop restaurant has excellent food and the staff, especially the manager are extremely friendly and happy to help with just about anything.

Very good experience, awesome welcome drink, spacious room, sumptuous breakfast (no Indian option though) and friendly service. I will consider this hotel for a repeat Nepal stay.

I LOVED my room. Amazing bed and sheet and pillows. Request a room towards the back if possible for more quiet as mine was very quiet, like an oasis.
The staff was incredibly friends and helpful as well and I will definitely go back.

We stayed at the hotel for a total of 6 nights during our vacation in Kathmandu. The room was very clean and comfortable. Drinking water, tea & coffee is available in the room. Very good breakfast to start the day.
But what truly set Thamel Boutique Hotel apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff, especially by the manager, Jaya. His attention to detail and dedication to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of every guest was truly commendable. His genuine smile and kindness made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay.
The location is very good and it is close to main attractions.

W had a very pleasant stay at the hotel situated in the heart of the city.
Rooms were big & well maintained with clean bathrooms.
Staff of the hotel were very cooperative and always ready to help.
Food was also good and they adjusted with the timings to serve even after being late in the morning.
Breakfast at the terrace was so relaxing with well arranged tabels. If I have to visit Kathmandu again Thamel Boutique hotel will be my choice.

The room that i stay is deluxe family room which is really so fantastic, big size room. I am really so greatful to receptionist and housekeeping staff who care me my wife and my little baby to create friendly environment. The food that i have in this hotel garden was fresh plus new taste for me. There are some bad reviews i read about this hotel but in real, you will get more value than you pay and really so helpful and friendly staff. I will recommend this place specially for couple, trekkers and family who are planning to stay in center of thamel kathmandu in a peaceful environment.

During the night a bunch of drunks tried to break into our room by force, we asked the hotel managers for help during the night and they did nothing. In the morning they did not offer compensation and chose to blame us. Highly not recommended place.

The place is great. But the foods are not spicy enough as it should be. The price is okay. Overall nice place to eat korean food. I recommend you guys to eat bibimbap there. It’s really tasty.

Cook for yourself or order it from the kitchen, both ways it is great. Had Korean food for dinner for 3 and paid 4400 which is around 44 usd. The food is cheap and is good. The only downside is crammed up ambiance. But, fairly big for a place like Thamel. The nicest thing, it has parking.
