Hotel Bodhiz in Kathmandu

I liked the area which is quite but facilities like phone in the room and tv was not functional

During this trip to Nepal, we chose to stay at Hotel Bodhiz, which is located next to the Great Stupa, which added many wonderful memories to this trip.

Location:

The hotel is in an extremely advantageous location. It is located in the Great Stupa scenic area. It only takes fifteen seconds to walk from the hotel gate to the Great Stupa, which is very convenient. When dining at the terrace restaurant on the top floor of the hotel, you can enjoy the view of the Great Stupa that is close at hand.

Hotel room:

We first booked a twin suite for five nights. The room is spacious, bright, comfortable and tidy. It is equipped with two large beds, a separate living room, and ample storage space such as wardrobes, dressing tables and lockers. Because the experience was particularly good, we booked a family apartment for four nights. The room is very spacious, with two bedrooms and a separate kitchen and dining room.

Service:

The hotel's service is very considerate. Especially Ms. Tseten at the front desk, she is not only professional and capable, fluent in English, but also very warm and thoughtful. During our stay, no matter what problems we encountered, she responded quickly and provided effective solutions. Dorje, the night shift front desk, was also very friendly and warm. In addition, the staff Lhakpa and Swadesh helped to transport the luggage to the room from the moment we got off the car, and enthusiastically helped to communicate with the taxi driver about the pick-up location when we checked out.

Food:

The terrace restaurant on the roof of the hotel serves three meals. Our order includes breakfast: breakfast is mainly in the form of set meals + drinks, with a wide variety. There are both Western breakfasts and local specialties to choose from.

There is also a small detail that touched me. In the hotel rooms, large sustainable glass bottles are used to hold mineral water instead of plastic bottles. If more drinking water is needed, there are water dispensers at both ends of each floor to provide guests with high-quality mineral water in three different options: cold, room temperature and hot.

We really like the Boudiz Hotel. Not only is the location excellent and the view is excellent, but the rooms are comfortable, the staff is attentive, the meals are rich and delicious, and the price is reasonable. Whether you are traveling to Kathmandu or making a pilgrimage, this is an excellent accommodation choice. Highly recommended to all friends who plan to come to Kathmandu~

Hotel Bodhiz is very near to Boudhanath Stupa. A short walk out of the hotel and you are there. The staff are very friendly. Good and tasty food. Especially their Dahl. For the price I paid I am very happy with the place. Recommended for easy travellers.

Very helpful manger and staff

The location is very good. It’s a 15-minute walk to the tower.
The room is very big
New bathroom facilities
The open-air breakfast can see the big tower. It is comfortable but the breakfast is a bit oily.
The front desk of the hotel was very nice and even helped call a taxi.
