I booked a room for two nights for the beginning of february.
I exchanged emails with the owner about my arrival time which was at 10 pm in the night aswell as he reassured me that I will get picked up from the airport.
After almost 40 hours of travelling I really wasnt in the mood to experience that nobody was there to pick me up. I had to negotiate with drunk taxi drivers about the price since they wanted me to pay 20 dollars for a ride I could have gotten for free.
When I finally arrived at the hotel at 11 pm the whole place, and neighbourhood was DARK. Everything was closed and there was no one to get me checked in. I had paid my room in advance! Now I had to walk with my heavy luggage thru thamel to find another place for the night since the taxi driver left already!
I tried to get in touch with the owner the next day and they are still ignoring my emails and the refund I asked them about! DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!

Good value for backpackers. Nirvana Peace Home is tucked on a quieter street but borders Thamel. Room was comfy and clean but could have used more practical outlet placing. Bathroom had a few issues: needing to manually turn the tap to fill the toilet bowl each time, only cold water showers, sewage smell. But for the price and friendliness of the staff, it was a fairly good stay.
Good hotel with clean rooms and hospitality. Rooms come within budget. Is open until late night so it is good if you are planning to go out night and need a place to sleep late. Overall good.

The best value private hotel room in Thamel. Located an easy walk from everything but still in a quiet area. Good cleanliness and a nice little rooftop area. Located outside police checkpoint so it's also very safe. Good little lobby and restaurant downstairs.

The room it was big and the bed confortable, but the hot water didn’t work good, it was a bad smell on the toilet and the wifi didn’t work on the room.
The staff don’t really care about the hosts.
Good location.
They need to make an improvements and the hotel could be great, but at the moment there’s better options for that price.

Absolutely Worst place to stay.
We booked rooms and also paid for it. When we went to get the rooms they simply refused that we ever had booked rooms with them. The staff was also raising voice and trying to threaten us after we asked to call the owner. The owner never picked up his phone.
Be very careful while booking rooms with them. They only give rooms if you are a tourist or are willing to pay in dollars

Hotel need to take care of maintenance of the room. Fan was noisy, there was tear in bed sheets, some parts of bathroom was missing. I checked reviews of guests but it didn't meet my expectations. Good part of the hotel was that staffs were friendly. Hotel can do lots of improvements. Comparison to the price its ok to stay.
