Amazing service. I could say more about the Staff. Rooms were roomy and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.
If you decide to do guided tour or walk, their provided guide Leel was fantastic. His 25 years of local knowledge made our 14 klm hike so entertaining and an experience we won't forget.

The hotel is located on the mountainside, offering expansive views of the city and lake. The room was clean and the facilities were quite complete. The service was efficient and high-quality. The restaurant's food was good, and the prices were reasonable. The hotel also serves as a great wedding venue; we happened to witness a lively wedding banquet filled with guests.

We enjoyed our stay at Bar Peepal.

Our room was clean, comfortable and fairly quiet. I was surprised to find that they aren't able to include a top sheet on the bed.

The staff are excellent.

The grounds and architecture are very nice.

Breakfast is very nice.

The food is generally quite good. I appreciated that the produce grown on the hotel's farm is featured in most dishes. The only dishes I would not recommend are the pork chop, which was mostly fat, and the whole trout, which was not cleaned well.

We haven't used the sauna. We were surprised to find that it is not an included amenity.

The massage at the spa is excellent.

The travel desk provided good service. We hope that their drivers will be taught the drop off spots for popular treks.

We were grateful to be able to leave our extra bags here during our trek.

We plan to return here on future visits to Pokhara.

We had an exceptional stay at Bar Peepal Resort. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was incredible, every staff member went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The resort’s location is perfect: peaceful and scenic, yet close to the heart of Pokhara. It truly feels like a serene escape.
The amenities were fantastic, but one of the highlights of our stay was the top‑notch massage experience. My husband and I received treatments from Aarti, Saru, Sumita, and Sangita, and each of them delivered outstanding service. Their professionalism, skill, and calming approach made it one of the best spa experiences we’ve ever had—truly the perfect way to unwind after exploring the city.
While the rooms were a bit small a the hotel does not have a lift, everything else was extremely amazing, and the overall quality of service more than made up for it.
Bar Peepal Resort exceeded our expectations, and we left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and eager to return.

The staff went above and beyond to give us a comfortable and unforgettable stay! It was our honeymoon and they surprised us by decorating our room and giving us a cake :) So thoughtful!

The view from our balcony and the swimmingpool on the lake was amazing! They were so accomodating that we could leave our luggage at the hotel while we were doing the Annapurna Base Camp trek. Spoiling ourselves with this hotel after an 8 day hike felt like a dream. Upon arrival, we got the trekker’s healing massage from the Aveda Wellness in the hotel and it was honestly one of the best massages we’ve ever had!

They have a travel agent at the reception area and he organised a flight and private transfer for us. Super efficient and friendly service.

The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and was delicious. Next to that, we had dinner twice at the hotel restaurant and it was incredible. Served with a big smile as well. Really recommend to eat there!

We also used their laundry service and gym and sauna facilities. Just everything you need and much more in one place.

The best! The hotel was a post-trek treat and totally worth it. The staff are so welcoming and friendly we felt like honoured guests. The hotel is within 10 minutes walk of “downtown” Pokhara and the lakefront, yet it’s a peaceful place laid out for privacy. The garden and the infinity pool, and the room balcony exceptionally enjoyable.
Rooms and bathrooms of a very high standard. Spa treatments also to be praised and the fitness room is clean and quite well equipped. There’s also a travel desk to help organise your sightseeing and other arrangements.
I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Avoid this hotel! Three of us stayed in two rooms for two nights, and upon checkout, we were forced to pay an extra $30, completely uninformed. Breakfast was clearly provided as a portion per room, but someone didn't eat it the next day and gave their share to their companion. The hotel then demanded payment and refused to refund us.
Lack of transparency, forced fees, and complete dishonesty! A truly terrible experience!
