Yusuph was so professional and full of peace. He made sure our check-in was smooth and that our entire stay was excellent. Sabina, Sanam and Sante made our restaurant experience fantastic! They were so kind to accommodate my plant-based diet. The breakfast included was the best we’ve had in Nepal. Customer service was excellent all around! The beds, comforter and pillows are so fluffy and comfortable. We will be back for sure. Thank you to everyone at Waterfront resort for making our stay so pleasant.

This hotel was in a higher price range than the surrounding hotels, so I expected a reasonable level of service and comfort. The room was spacious enough, but it was difficult to feel any special charm or benefits that would have been commensurate with the price.
The location was a little far from the city center, and although it was a quiet environment, there was nothing particularly noteworthy about the surroundings, and it seemed a little boring. Also, the view from the room was not what you would expect, which was a bit disappointing.
The facilities overall were old and felt a bit outdated. It may be suitable for long-term stays with families, but as a resort hotel, it left an impression of being mediocre.

The room needs repair. Breakfasts are ok. The pool is dirty. View of the lake. Sunsets are beautiful. We stayed for 3 nights.

The overall feeling is not as good as the mountain. The service is very poor, and they will keep calling before checking out. The room is relatively damp and the facilities are old. The bathtub is not safe and the angle is very easy to slip. I fell in the bathtub. The lake view is OK. But in fact, there are hotels by the lake. It is not outstanding. The elevator smells very strong. The breakfast is average. The airport pick-up is useless, and the airport drop-off is not available.

We had booked lake view room, was given a room that wasn’t lake view. Then they made excuses like it was partial lake view, then said booking number is different, finally they said they would change the room but they can’t because we used the room.
A/C remote was broken on first day, but they fixed it immediately.
There was no hot water on the last day in the morning, came back much later but it was too late for taking any shower before checkout.
Room service food was horrible, burnt paneer and biriyani full of bones and fat. We could only eat part of it.
The only good thing I would say is that the staff is well behaved and the breakfast was really good.
But this is not the experience I was expecting from a 4* hotel. And it wasn’t even the busy tourist season. I would recommend to avoid this place.

The price of nearly 500 to stay in this hotel is not worth it at all...
The shower in the bathroom is leaking, and the facilities are relatively old. This room type is actually for one person and you can choose a twin bed. It's very strange. I don't recommend it at all. There are many rooms with one or two hundred dollars around.
