Lovely but expensive hotel in the Dutch countryside

Great hotel for an overnight stay. Room was spacious and reasonably clean. Bed was good. Too bad the TV wasn't smart.

Wow we found this little gem of a hotel and it didn't fail to disappoint us! The reception check in was so smooth and really friendly- couldn't do enough for us! It is about a 10 minute walk from town. We really can't fault anything. We will definitely be returning, should we ever need to come back.

Modern hotel loaded with amenities, even reusable bags for groceries and umbrellas! Spa was very nice and bed was comfy. I wasn’t able to control my thermostat and it was a little warmer than I prefer, the pillows were also firm so that took some getting used to. Breakfast was filling, but was also 20€. Bar will allow you to order food from nearby restaurants to the hotel which is pretty cool.

This is a good hotel, but it is a bit different to the "usual" chains which isn't very clear from other reviews! Big rooms with all the necessities. Gym is a rehabilitation clinic, so don’t have very heavy weights but excellent cardio equipment. I did not eat here, but looked good. Location is decent, 15min walk to Aldi and 30min to centrum or a nature preserve. Parking costs .50€ for 30 min and 5€ overnight.

A very good hotel, easy to find from the A50 motorway being well signed, though that can't be said for the hotel parking facility. The parking in front of the hotel is actually for the adjacent hospital and is payable so very misleading! Been around for business and this hotel was one of the options. It‘s a care-oriented hotel with huuuuge rooms and great spacious bathrooms. It‘s a completely barrier free hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Parking is available next to it for a cheap price per day.

My room was quite, big and confortable, Nice view to the pond while taking breakfast. The hotel have no gym. No toilet amenities neither, I don't know if they would have provide it. As there is not much around I had to pick up the car to buy something I forgot. The service is nice and attentive. 5 stars for them.

This was part of a package tour. I'll say from the start it's location was very poor - however this was not the hotels error. So onward positively... The room was spacious and adequate. The hotel is ok, but nothing more than that. The room was quite noisy, noises from the neighboring rooms ca be heard. as well as the noise from the cars passing on the highway. Single glass windows do not help for the outside noise and kept the room cold. Food at the restaurant was ok. People working there are friendly. Paying for the car park seems to be odd to me for this kind of location. So...

Everything else is OK, except that the soundproofing is a little poor and the water in the bathroom is too small. The surrounding facilities are very complete and it is very convenient for dining and shopping

The hotel is easy to get to, the bus stop is not far, near McDonald's. The room is large enough, cozy. The bathroom is clean. Breakfast until 10:30. I didn't like it on the first day, on the second day everything was great. The staff is friendly. I recommend the hotel)

Stayed here to celebrate 7 years of marriage and coincidentally stayed it the room called 'Seventh Heaven'. And that was what it felt like. Beautiful room, spacious and comfortable. Slept like a baby: the bed was great and it was really quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful, always a warm welcome when you came back to the hotel. Would like to stay here again if I would return to Den Bosch.

Historic hotel, it seems to me that it was founded by nuns. It was renovated, essentially in the bathrooms, conserving a little of its past. The restaurant room is magnificent, overlooking the hotel garden, where you can also enjoy breakfast. The people are of extraordinary sympathy. It is located in a residential neighborhood and by a very nice lake. I recommend.

I booked a single room. It was small, but clean. The bathroom, however, wasn't very clean; there was mold in the shower and the shower drain was clogged.

First of all, of course, the excellent breakfast. So tasty and plenty of choice. The breakfast room looks neat and tidy. Top !!! The staff is very friendly. The room was spacious and fresh, nice beds and a large TV. For us, definitely worth repeating. The central location is also nice.

The hotel is an old building, decorated in a vintage style, very beautiful and sweet, suitable for taking pictures. The room is quite spacious. The bathroom has a bathtub, but on the day I went, the staff forgot to refill the shower gel. Other than that, it's okay. The location is good, close to the church and shopping areas.

Located next to the oldest church in the Netherlands, it is very close to the city center and very convenient for walking. The only thing is that the church will ring the bell every time, usually starting at 7 or 8 in the morning.

This is my second time staying here. The house was renovated and upgraded at the beginning of this year, and the environment is much better than before. The hotel breakfast is also very rich. It is next to the church, which is very convenient. The only drawback is that there are too many pillows on the bed, which makes the bed very crowded.

Nice Hotel, centrally located with good size room and car par park facility. Breakfast was also qiite extensive and big. They didnt have toiletries available which was rather disappointing.

It’s only fair to acknowledge when a place shows professionalism. My enquiry was answered politely, and when I later shared some concerns, the manager replied with genuine care and a thoughtful public response. That level of attention makes a difference. It's about a ten-minute walk from the train station. It's very convenient to walk there. There are many specialty shops along the way, each with its own characteristics. The breakfast is also very good. It is a restaurant during the day and a bar at night. The environment is very good, but I didn't experience it due to time constraints.

I've been only to the spa and even if the facilities are beautiful and very well maintained, I found it expensive for the few services they offer included in the price. It's mainly one big indoor and outdoor swimming pool with several big jacuzzi's. There's just one small sauna and hamam for that amount of visitors. That was not nice. No option to sit since everything was full, no chairs available...

Fantastic hotel and spa… the thermal space was very relaxing… beautiful indoor/ outdoor bathing pools in a nature setting. There are a variety of pools including 37 degrees, and a 34 degree salt water float pool… both amazing experiences and quite unusual. There was also a salt scrub shower space and 1 sauna/ 1 steam room. The thermal area requires swim suits and robes. Robes and flip flops were included...

The bed was huge and the most comfortable ever. The hotel staff, restaurant and location were simply perfect.

We had a large 2 bed suite. The room was absolutely massive. The room itself was great. Bed and pillows are were super comfortable (firm bed and pillows). Two main complaints. One is check in - you literally check in by the bar in the restaurant. Awkward standing there with bags while drinks are going to the customers seated at tables next to where you are. Other issue is the sound of the town below...

The location is nice, but you have to find the underground shortcut to the city center. We didn’t know this shortcut existed so we were running over the street before which is really dangerous as there are no pedestrian crossings. But make sure you ask/ find the underground shortcut for pedestrians.

The room was perfect for a couple nights stay in Eindhoven. The location close to the railway station was great. Late on the saturday evening there was no one at the reception and we, me and at least five other guests, had to wait to someone to some to open the front door. Breakfast was ok, but the box given instead of it wasn''t. Only yogurt and fruit was eatable. The webside was also misleading....

It was an okay experience. I’ve stayed here before mostly due to the convenient location of being next to the train station, however I feel the hotel needs an update. Light switches were not working properly in the room and it left a tired feel to the property. The management team should consider updating the facilities to reflect most Mercure hotels
