Not very clean, very loud and filth all over the walls

My train from Germany to Amsterdam was cancelled due to heavy snow and I tried twice with all my power and time to appeal and cancel the booking. But unfortunately CS hotel gave zero empathy on the situation. As I do not have control over weather and everything has been cancelled on the 5/01/2026 to Amsterdam.

I do not recommend to book this property. I am a diamond member with Trip.com and I rarely make feedback good or bad. And this is the first time I leave a negative feedback as I am extremely disappointed with the cancellation policy!

The entire building location and room is good.
But the stairs are difficult to carry big luggage especially for lady.

Thank you for the room with a great view.
However, I was disappointed that there was no elevator, the towels had holes and were yellowed, the bathroom drain smelled of sewage, and there was no kettle.
These were especially concerning for me as I'm Japanese.
I'm grateful that all the staff were so kind.

Excellent location with access to restaurants and transportation nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

It didn't match the photos at all. The room was small and dirty, and the bathroom wasn't as pictured either. The room was filthy, with dirty floors and yellow stains on the sheets and pillows... A nightmare! (The photos don't do it justice.) The bathroom was dirty, and the thought of touching any surfaces or walls made me shiver (the same goes for the room). The location was excellent, and there wasn't much noise on the street at night. The good thing, at least, was that we were able to leave our luggage at reception for free on our last day. The price didn't reflect the condition of the room and the property at all, and I should point out that this isn't my first time staying in that area.

The location is perfect, sadly I am traveling with my daughter with heavy luggage I can't lift up to luggage because the stairs too shapy and high. No lift and noisy when people walking Infront of our rooms we can hear them talking or just stepping. I must leave the luggage at a hotel Infront of it.

As always Prins Hendrick is the best place to stop for a beer and some people watching 😉 Good beer, good food and very friendly staff who will remember you from one year to the next! We have also stayed in the hotel ( not this time) and the friendly good service runs the same plus a very excellent breakfast 😘

You get a decent room for a reasonable price at the heart of Amsterdam. The rooms are clean but the interior is a bit used. The staff was very child friendly. The breakfast is simple, but good.
