Great hotel. Rooms are tiny but so functional and the bathroom is exceptional! I’d definitely recommend getting the balcony room as it’s nice to open the door at least for fresh air and in summer i imagine it would be a bonus. Check in was wonderful. We got lots of info and even offered a beer. Stairs are very steep but reception carried our luggage up and if you tell them when you book you prefer a lower floor they are happy to accommodate if they can. The only issue is the tram they takes you to the hotel from central has been diverted due to road works they has been going on for 2 years so be prepared to walk at least 30 mins to central or any of the tourist sights!

Family-owned hotel with great and friendly service. Our room was always Clean and filled daily with water and chocolates. Quiet location but walking distance from city center. The 13/17 tram stop is right in front of the hotel.

Can’t ask for any better for the price! Staff were great, beds are comfortable, tram right outside or a nice 20 minute stroll into the city! Jacuzzi in the room was absolutely unreal too!

A lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location. The airport bus station of Elandsgracht is only a 6-minute walk away, and with two tram stops right outside, getting anywhere in Amsterdam is effortless.
We stayed in the Garden-room, which was a great size with two very comfortable single beds. The bathroom was spotless and stocked with unexpected extras like a full shaving set and toothpaste & toothbrush
The cute terrace was a lovely feature to have, even though we didn't use it much due to the weather.
A special thanks to the receptionists, Onur and Savas, who were very kind and informative.
Staying at the Alp's made our visit to Ámsterdam easy and enjoyable.

May have been a great hotel had our booking not been cancelled by the hotel as a "no show" after a flight cancellation to Amsterdam from Rome. We advised the hotel of a flight delay, then the subsequent cancellation. Due to the flight cancellation we missed the first night's stay (of a 2 night stay). We were prepared to wear this, and were looking forward to at least the second night, however the hotel cancelled our entire prepaid booking, regardless of our communication via email. I wonder if the room remained empty on the second night, or it they doubled their money by booking it to someone else...
Terrible service (specifically from Tahir and Bert). Maybe it's a great hotel, we will never know if this is how they treat guests.

I stayed here at the Alp with 3 of my friends, absolutely perfect hotel if you want to explore Amsterdam, not far from the centre either.
The staff here are also really great! They helped us the entire time with directions and places to visit!
I also made a request to move the rooms next to each other and they called me that day to help me with the booking and got it sorted! The rooms were tidy and beds were comfy, and a balcony to enjoy some heat. What more could you want ☺️
They also helped us get an arranged taxi to get back to the airport on the last day too!
Definitely coming back to the Alp Hotel this year if I get the chance!

Our stay was very good. Our room with balcony has a view of the courtyard. It was cooling fresh air with greenary. The beds and pillow was comfortable. Room and bathroom was clean. Though there was no coffee maker in room we were served coffee anytime of the day when requested. The staff was kind and very accommodating. Location of hotel to tramp stop was just across the road. So convenient to move around. Our taxi to airport was booked by hotel too. Thank you Nur and team for an excellent customer service!

The hotel is well located in a quiet neighborhood and has good connections to all around the city.
Onur & Tahir at the reception were very helpful and attentive :)
The rooms are small (a standard in Amsterdam) but were clean, comfy and well maintained. The balcony is a very nice plus!

10/10 definitely coming back here again. Staff were going above and beyond, super friendly and helpful with getting around and getting us to the airport. Rooms & view was amazing, super clean and comfortable. Will definitely come back again with my friends this year and future trips.

What a wonderful location! You're close to several tram lines and the rooms are charming.
Pros:
*Amazing location and transit options
*Cute room with updates spa
*Close to several restaurants
*Incredibly friendly staff
Cons:
*No A/C - not an issue when there's a breeze, but on a hot day, there's no way to cool down.
*Narrow spiral staircase with no elevator, so bags are a little difficult
*Smoking allowed on terrace, so it often blows in from neighboring suites
Notes: Slightly noisy (traffic and transit) with windows open, but almost silent when you close them! Trams also stop running during late hours.
All in all, it was one of the better locations we stayed at during our trip and I'd definitely recommend it to others so long as you're fine with the aforementioned.
