We stayed at the hotel for one night. Overall, the hotel was good. The first receptionist we encountered wasn’t very attentive, but each time we returned (2–3 times), he helped us by opening the luggage room without any issues.

The main reason I’m writing this feedback, however, is to highlight another receptionist (the Portuguese one), who was exceptionally helpful and kind.

As hotel operators ourselves in our home country, we truly appreciate such professionalism and would like to thank him once again through this message.

This place had everything I needed: a cozy room, breakfast, a cute lounge area, and a very helpful staff. Everyone was friendly and attentive to the guests’ needs and concerns. Would highly recommend!

A tiny but stylish & clean room in a great location. A perfect option for a couple of nights, overall I liked it.

This was the Arcade Hotel, a place with a soul a style and a purpose.
Now it's only an hotel like every cheap hotel around, full of cheap fake flowers and fake smiles. The new owner is the most obnoxious lady I ever met. Keep on asking for reviews while saying "before this place wasn't good and now is better" to your guests, when you just sucked out the soul of the place to put some fake flowers and try forcing people to say "looks good", says it all.
I see her yelling to all her staff on multiple occasions.
And then the staff was so tense that was looking almost panicked.
I don't want to know the internal dynamics, all I know is, from
A beautiful place it was, with a unique atmosphere, now it's just a sad place, a phantom of himself, and also the workers looks like ghosts of themselves.
And they made the pictures of the rooms to look bigger than they are.
Sad indeed.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, no ac as usual in europe. The staff is sweet and I got a warming welcome from the portuguese guy. The game room is really cool, you can easily stay hours there, especially if you come with friends. Overall cool hotel for a veru good price. The neighborhood is perhaps the best in amsterdam

I did a quick two day stay here and I was satisfied. The staff was great and so helpful. Specifically the daytime front desk guy (black) hair. The room is small with no AC but served its purpose which for me was only sleeping. I did slip a few times in the shower because it is extremely slippery. As small as the shower is a mat is needed. Nice neighborhood and I loved that I was able to rent a bike at the hotel as my mode of transportation.
