Great location well away from less salubrious areas of Amsterdam. Lovely room with comfortable and clean ensuite. Steep stairs but thats part of the charming. Helpful hosts.

Cons:
Loud church bell- use ear plugs to sleep and no problem
Shared kitchen with tenant
No lift and skinny stairs - not good for elderly. Was fine for us.

Overall- I recommend it.

Great location with less than 10min walking from Amsterdam Centraal station. Most major tourism places and tram stops are also quite close. I really enjoyed the trip with the property at the center of the old small town, Amsterdam. I would like to emphasize however that the property is a guest house, not a hotel. No hotel like services with reception/concierge are available. It is mixture of air b&b and hotel. It has kitchen, laundry, towel replacement everyday, room/bed cleaning everyday. Downsides may include the narrow and steep stairway without elevator to the 3rd floor(actually 4th), old style keys and old style bedroom, low height old beds without boxspring, old building, etc.
I would like to praise the owner's prompt responses through text message and great communication service. He also allowed us flexible check-in and check-out time. Overall, I would recommend the guest house to the tourists who understand the service concept of guest houses.

Very good location. Helpful and kind staff. Cleaning was okay. Nice little shared kitchen. Would have been nice if description said, very small stairs to 3. floor and no lift. Single quilts, instead of only doubles would have been nice. But worst was probably the church bells every 15 min during the day.

Goran and Johnny made our stay extremely easy and comfortable! The location was exceptional and the room was very clean and cozy! Would absolutely stay again and recommend!

The location is amazing, right in the heart of Amsterdam. Would like to come back again. But now we don't know when.

Do not book here, they just cancel your reservation at the last moment! If you want tot make sure you can sleep book somewhere else.
