I wish I never stayed in this hotel. There was only one person at the reception and I tried to check in through the terminal kept there. There were confusion and the duty manager was too busy answering any question.
In the room we could not charge our mobile phones as there was no USB port and the our plugs were were not compatible to Dutch ones. I went to reception to borrow one and the rude duty manager told me to buy one for €15 or rent a portable power bank for €3 from a vending machine. I went to rent from the machine and the process was confusing. When asked for help, the duty manager was rude and repeatedly mentioned that he is busy and told me to follow the instructions (which were confusing).
The overall feeling was unwelcoming and the attitude of the staff can and should definitely improve.

This is the first time in my life I’ve ever left such a negative review for a hotel. After traveling to many countries and staying in various places, this is by far the worst hotel I’ve experienced. This hotel is definitely NOT BEST!!!
I stayed for 3 nights with a total of 4 people in a family room. The room was clearly designed for only 3 people, but the hotel forced in an extra bed, making the space extremely small, cramped, and uncomfortable for four people, with no proper ventilation.
The front desk staff were very unfriendly, and the room facilities were incomplete, with bathroom fixtures in very poor condition. When we entered the room, we found that the toilet flush, sink, and shower were cracked. We immediately complained, and although staff came to check, instead of offering a better room, they simply said, “it is still usable.”
Additionally, upon check-in, the soap in the bathroom was almost empty (only about 5% left). We had to go downstairs ourselves to request more, as no one answered the room phone despite multiple attempts. When we asked for tissue, we were told to take napkins from the hotel’s cafe/bar ourselves.
The service was extremely poor and far below expectations. It certainly does not live up to the name “Best Western Hotel”, it is absolutely NOT BEST. I strongly do not recommend this hotel and will never stay here again.

The room overall was good, but the water pressure was inconsistent. The hotel is close to Amsterdam's business district, but it's a 10-minute walk to the nearest metro station and also a bit of a distance from the tram stop. The hotel doesn't have laundry facilities or ironing equipment.

I had a pathetic check-in experience on the night of 31st Jan 2026 around 11 PM. I am staying in Room 507. I was trying to use the self-check-in kiosk and needed basic help with the keys and room details. The Indian staff member at the reception was extremely rude and unprofessional.He was constantly on his phone and completely ignored me. When I tried to speak to him in Hindi to be friendly, he arrogantly mentioned he's been in NL for 10 years and then just went back to ignoring me. When I asked about the keys and room number, he didn't guide me; instead, he gave me a mocking smirk as if he was enjoying my struggle. He finally told me to 'just click continue' with a very condescending attitude.Being in the hospitality industry for 10 years should teach you respect, not arrogance. This guy is a disgrace to the hotel's reputation. I hope the management investigates who was on duty at the front desk arround 11 PM on Jan 31st and takes strict action. Such 'smirking' and disrespectful behavior towards guests is unacceptable.

The location isn't great and it's a bit hard to find, plus transportation isn't very convenient. However, the hotel facilities are very complete and spacious, with amenities like coffee available. It's also quite clean and hygienic.

Basic but has all you need. Room was perfectly clean and no noise. The only problem was that the window was broken and we could nott open it. I would stay again.

I'm super excited and satisfied to stay in this hotel! The staffs are nice! The room is clean and big enough for me and the bus station is just outside the hotel which is very convenient to travel to the city!

A little far out from the centre but we did not mind the travel to the centre. Metro/bus stops were under 10mins walk, very accessible. The neighbourhood was lovely had plenty of convenience stores nearby including a Lidl and New York Pizza takeaway. The staff were hospitality and had room service every day of our stay. We were able to leave our belongings in the hotel as our flight arrived earlier than check in time and bonus was we were able to check in half hour early than the check in time. Room was equipped with mini fridge, coffee machine, shower, radiator, TV and AC. Only problem was from the second day there was cigarette smell sipping into our room. It was very strong and my guess was that it came from the bathroom vents, this was very unsettling as we asked for a non smoking room due to my asthma. Everything else was top notch
