Very, very central to food, transportation, tourist sights and shopping. I walked out and a free feet I was in the red-light district. The Staffs at the hotel were very accommodating. They even provided me with a kettle and things to make tea and coffee. A mini fridge was also in the room. My room was comfortable and clean. The face basin was my only discomfort as it was too small and kept splashing water on the floor. The bathroom is big enough for a bigger sink. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay there.

Absolutely not worth the money paid. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Aside from the location, which was within walking distance to the central station, everything else about this hotel was terrible. The room floors were visibly dirty, and there was dust everywhere. The toilet was also ridiculously small.

Several items in the room were broken, including the safety box, hair dryer, and the air conditioning didn’t work at all.

When I raised the issue, the receptionist offered a fan and a room change the following day with refund of the first night’s stay. The fan ended up blowing out chunks of dust but there was no cleaning service from the hotel despite knowing the issue.

However, the hotel did not honor their earlier commitment to refund the first night. Very unprofessional that they have now backtracked on their word.

Mind you the window-less rooms do not have air con so you’re gonna have to bake in the heat and no lift to the basement… but nonetheless, location is good

As always Prins Hendrick is the best place to stop for a beer and some people watching 😉 Good beer, good food and very friendly staff who will remember you from one year to the next! We have also stayed in the hotel ( not this time) and the friendly good service runs the same plus a very excellent breakfast 😘

You get a decent room for a reasonable price at the heart of Amsterdam. The rooms are clean but the interior is a bit used. The staff was very child friendly. The breakfast is simple, but good.
