Lovely stay. Great view to the beach with easy access. Hotel is located toward the end of the beach which was quiet but yet near everything close by. Convenient with the parking garage right near the hotel.

The room was big. It is located in the heart of a shopping street. The downside is that the breakfast area is located some distance from the hotel, but it is within the same building. I went there for a conference from 26th to 27th February 2026.

It is my 4th or 5th stay at this hotel. It is good and practical to explore Leiden and get to Schiphol airport. Rooms are big enough for two persons. This time we stayed on the 11th floor. It is more cumbersome to get there as you have to change elevators, but the room was more spacious. The newly renovated reception looks good.

For the 4 nights I stayed, they didn't make up my room before the last night.

The location is excellent – very central and convenient. The room was quite spartan but had everything we needed. Cleanliness was generally good, although there was a strong odor in the bathroom that was hard to ignore. Breakfast was simple and not particularly varied, but it was perfectly adequate for a few days. One downside: parking was extremely expensive.

Great location, great service, we were very satisfied with our stay.

A fifteen minute walk from the Centraal station but also close to a tram line. The hotel is built inside 'The Passage ' shopping area and is a lovely hotel. We had an excellent room and Bas on check in really looked after us and our room was ready early. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent and the bar had local beers and also a good range of European wine and other beverages....

We came for a weekend stay with family and got a free upgrade to executive suit. The hotel welcomed us with a cosy atmosphere, play area for kids and a breakfast with exactly the right balance of choice, quality and taste. The hotel is in an excellent location in the city centre, near tram and at a historical shopping passage.

The hotel is near the market and the Cube House. In addition, it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the pier to the Children's Dike. The room has a terrace and a record player. The only drawback is that the water pressure is low.

The best hotel in town. Everything was very good. The staff was really wonderful, kind, attentive and patient, which is very important.

We recently stayed at the hotel while attending a family funeral, having travelled from London. Yolanda and her team showed exceptional kindness, empathy, and professionalism. She understood the difficult circumstances we were under and went out of her way to make our stay as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Ok hotel if you need to be there nearby. Room was clean but not free from outdoor noise. Could hear people walking through the hallway, banging their doors or flushing their toilet. Fridge in the room made a lot of noise. Hotel is situated near the highway so in the evening/ night you can hear loud cars / motorbikes opening up their throttles.

Nice Hotel for staying the night. Rooms were clean, sheets fresh and bathroom also clean. The only minus point was the fridge in the room, which was extremely loud and could not be switched off, even as it was not used as a mini bar.

Close to center of town and freeway access. Parking is a problem: restricted access to parking lot and garage is expensive. Our room had a very small bathroom with clumsy access to the shower.

It's a pretty good hotel in Europe, with large rooms and comfortable beds. However, the hotel details page says that slippers and toiletries are provided, but they weren't available on-site. They are optional and you need to ask the front desk for them, and even then, they may not be provided.

We spent one night at this hotel. It's an amazing historical building (Headquarter of HAL - Holland Amerika Lijn) and you see and feel the historical atmosphere whether you're in hall or in the room itself. We stayed for one night over the weekend. This hotel is not in the centre of Leiden and bed + bfst for 2 guests at nearly 220 Euros, I thought was super expensive. Staff acted like they don’t want to be there and the rooms are old. Breakfast was nice, but would not stay again.

The staff were so helpful and gave plenty of advice on where to visit and how to get around. The overall feel of the hotel is very special - the exposed brick, the wooden beams on the ceilings, the areas to sit and relax with views on the water. The location is very good. I would expect more transparency about prices and conditions. In front of the hotel there are big project built, making A LOT of noise. Actually a pretty nice hotel, especially from the inside. Well furnished spacious rooms with balconies with fine views. The furniture could be more modern, however it is well maintained. Breakfast is tasty with a large choice of food, however the scrambled eggs are obviously made from powder, so stay away from them.
