The room was great (very spacious and had all the amenities we needed) but we could only check in around 5pm as the room wasn’t ready. That said, the staff were very helpful and friendly and offered us complimentary drinks for the delay. The location was great as well - within walking distance of most of the attractions in the central area!

We were visiting family in early January, weather was really poor with lots of snow. The hotel was excellent and the service was outstanding. Our only issue was that despite the poor weather the weekly breakfast hours were maintained. It was difficult to get out and about with the ice. and snow. Having said that the staff were exceptionally helpful

Nothing to complain about, expect beds, could be better. After 3 night my back hurt a but. perfect location, very helpful staff, the room looked as pictures. And they had sho horn, verry nice! Breakfast superb!

It's far from the city, so you can only drive by yourself. Parking is available in front of the hotel, and everyone skips the parking fee.

The location is excellent and this was my second time at this hotel. The service has downgraded with 1 ply toilet rolls - you’re better off to buy your own. They don’t give a water bottle anymore, not even a complimentary one that you can refill later. It is only for select members apparently. You can’t expect basic toiletries from them in case you’ve forgotten - just the basic any hotel would do...

Stayed here lots of times mainly for location and for cost. Serving area though needs enlarged as there is always a Que at any time. This time my table was gone by the time I returned!!!

Room is not big but with high ceiling, I don't feel it too small. Mini bar in room offer free coffee capsule x 6pcs!! I finished 5 for the 2 evenings. 😁 Room is a bit cold with aircon, and started getting too warm after a few hours of heating. Common problem for hotels. It will be better if the shower bracket can be adjusted. But already feeling satisfied with the steaming hot water + good water pressure...

Pretty Basic hotel room for a price of 180€/night. The pictures online look better than in reality.

The room isn't huge, but the location is absolutely fantastic. It's right above the Central Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. We also happened to be there during the weekend market, which was less than a minute's walk away, offering all sorts of local cheeses, fries, flowers, and specialties.

I was very impressed with all of the staff at this place. I felt like they were always really helpful and offered to help us navigate things that were confusing to us in the city. I have used this hotel regularly a few times a month for the past few years. Always a welcoming atmosphere, staff have a lot of attention to detail. Hotel isn’t clean and friendly the atmosphere is always good. Has a nice small gym and the food and drinks are always consistently good. A special mention to Teo who always has a big smile with lots of professional attention to detail.

The stay was great! The room was comfy and cozy, good size for 2 person. Location was excellent, literally right next to the train station. The environment was quiet while it’s still waking distance to restaurants,bar and cafe nearby. We got assigned a room with a view of the canal and it was awesome! Small wardrobe for hanging clothes (seems obvious, but I had just stayed in a Hilton Hampton a few days before, and there was not so much as a coat hook). Great location, but around it feels a bit unsafe at night with lots of shady businesses.. the rooms were great but I slipped because there is nothing covering the shower floor whst makes it extreme slippery. The people in the hotel were verys kind. Breakfast is 21 euro per person.

Modern stylish hotel but very near train tracks, even from a high floor you can hear the rolling train and metal track noise which makes it hard to sleep... The hotel could provide ear plugs to every guest, and also water bottles on arrival (room had no bottled water)

Did not end up staying at the hotel due to the walk in policy, but the night shift Achraf went above and beyond to help me out and find another accommodation to stay in. Eventually with his help I managed to find something, thank you so much Achraf for your proactive help!

We were on a budget trip to explore Utrecht and I honestly cannot imagine a better place to stay. Includes everything you need, close enough to everything, friendly and helpful staff and you even get free coffee. Cheap (in the best way) and reliable. An honourable mention to Eirini from housekeeping for being so lovely and helpful!!!!

In terms of hygiene, the shower wasn't clean (hair from previous guests). The location is excellent and easily accessible. We did not have any food included because we decided to eat out as everything is close by. It was very clean, big and a nice view over the city.

The hotel is in a great location near train station/shopping mall/supermarket. The indoor swimming pool (which is not too small) is another value added feature too.

The hotel was quite disappointing. The room was very basic, and the grout in the bathroom was dirty. The Dahlmann reception staff were extremely friendly to us. However, the spa area was also quite basic and very crowded, meaning we couldn't use the sauna, and there were 15 people in the small pool. All in all, it was just okay.

Staying for four nights. Comfy room and bed. Nice bathroom and quiet. Breakfast is okay and the restaurant is big enough. Bus is just outside the hotel but you can easily walk in to town square.

Central enough (expect to walk/bike) somewhat characterless.

I wish we could have seen a little more of the town center from the room, but the view was still nice. The breakfast included hot* dishes and pancakes, so it was just right for a two-night stay. The only thing that was disappointing was that there wasn't any jam or maple syrup replenished. There was a snack corner near the entrance, which was convenient. I'd like to stay here again.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is attentive and ready to answer any questions. Everything in the rooms is well thought out; I had a refrigerator, coffee maker, electric kettle, and even an iron and ironing board. The breakfast was delicious, with freshly squeezed orange juice and smoothies.

Good stay, clean, and within reasonable walking distance of Utrecht Central Station and the city center. Only at the beginning it was a bit chaotic with the room assignment. But we resolved it well afterwards. Parking is also easy right outside and reasonably affordable (€25 per day).

The hotel is super central in such a great location. Staff were lovely and very nice to us, giving us extra coffee and pillows as needed. All in all nice stay would stay again.

The room didn't have an air conditioning system which made it difficult to sleep throughout the night as it was quite warm. Also, when we opened the windows the noise from the outside (people partying or chatting) was too much. The locker wasn't in working condition which created problems in securing our valuables. The location is great, about 10 minutes walk from Utrecht Central Station, next to the Queen's Store, other large shopping malls, shopping streets, and a few minutes walk from the central church and the city canal. The hotel has a rich variety of breakfast, the only drawback is that there are steps from the door to the front desk, which is not very friendly to tourists with large luggage.

Fantastic staff, lovely rooms with a great restaurant. Perfect for business travel. Topped off with a very good gym, way bigger and better equipped than your average hotel. Free upgrade to my room meant the mini bar was included in the price. I will definitely use this hotel on my next visit.

Awesome breakfast. I only regret that I'm a little eater in the morning. 😅 Especially the staff is super. As a guest you always have the feeling to be welcome. They share an intensive positiv spirit. I've been in this hotel at least 25times the past 4 years. Always perfekt.

Have been here for a training. Well maintained hotel with helpful staff. Spacious meeting rooms with required stationeries. Great food and drinks. Custom lunch and dinner also available upon request and would say I liked this more than the Apeldroon branch of Van der Valk! Location on the highway is ok if your on the move. If you want to visit Amersfoort, it’s a bit far away outside. Hotel is ok in general. No spark, just good and clean basic facility

The hotel was excellent and spacious, and the breakfast was very good. I was very satisfied. Free parking was a plus. However, the price on Ctrip wasn't great; I'll probably book elsewhere next time, as Ctrip is too expensive.

Simple hotel for a night, located near the highway. Room felt a bit outdated. Breakfast was fine.

The hotel offered an overall satisfactory stay. Breakfast was acceptable, with a reasonable selection. The location is a bit far from the city center, which may be inconvenient without transport. The room was fine and met basic expectations. Staff were polite and adequate. A plus point is the availability of a car park, which is convenient for guests with cars.

Standard Holiday Inn experience that you come to expect the check-in staff were very friendly and I found that this room was particularly clean compared to previous holiday inns I’ve stayed at the staff were very helpful when I asked for recommendations in the local area 

All good. We extended our stay here, as location wise, very communal with our car.

The temperature of shower water is not constant. I complained at the last time. This time in another room. Same problem. The room is not warm enough in November, even with the maximal heating setting.

The room smelled of sewage, and after changing rooms, the same smell persisted in the other room. The hotel is old and not worth the money.

It's a nice hotel located in a very green environment, very soothing for a walk, so it's not in a urban area. For stores you need to travel, but it's not too far away from the city centre.
