The facilities were clean and I have no complaints. However, although it's conveniently located right in front of the bus station, the room shook quite a bit every time a bus passed by. I had no problems sleeping.

We have stayed at this hotel several times for business. Unfortunately, this time the stay was not ideal. Due to construction work, almost everything was closed. The Hunfeld is in the centre of the lovely Dutch town of Utrecht. The square it’s sited in is on the way from the station to the heart of the medieval canal system. Restaurant Badhuis is a stylish restaurant with well presented quality food. We had a 3 course which was tasty and enough. The wine arrangement fitted well. Only critique was that the well trained person who served us did not have sufficient knowledge about the wine that accompanied the food. Food intolerances was adapted for without any problems! It's worth the money (for Netherlands context ) + the strategic location

We have been here for 2 nights. We had a pleasant welcome and the receptionist was waiting 1,5 hours longer (agreed in advance) on us. The room and Hotel was good, bathroom was nice, bed comfortable. The location is perfect, the room very basic but fine. However, I was surprised by the price-quality ratio. An outdated hotel, renovated, but not meeting hotel expectations. Comfortable rooms close to Amersfoort and the hotel was quiet. Good blackout curtains for the late summer sun. I had a single room with my own bathroom and they provided fresh towels everyday. The wifi was fast as well.

I enjoyed my stay at this very unique hotel, very nice staff and the bar area was great. Bathrooms were very clean, my only problem was my room which was not a problem with the hotel, but it was up some very steep stairs and next time I will definitely get a different room. It is a smallish hotel behind a snackbar. While clean (an important aspect) it is also very tiny. We paid 225 euros for one night (breakfast not included) for 10m2 (at best). Note: this was a 3 person room. There was only a tiny window for fresh air and the bathroom also was very, very small. So I definitely think this is overpriced.

The location is hard to find. Check in is in front of a restaurant. It's a 15-20 minute walk from the station. The room is very small and you can't open your suitcase at will. It's even smaller than a hotel in Japan.

This is a lovely hotel, and we enjoyed our stay very much. It is a teaching hotel, that is, there are students in training there, so things might take a bit longer because they are learning the ropes, but as long as you budget a little bit of patience, this is a wonderful place to stay. The room was large and spacious with high ceilings, and of course the cloister setting is one of a kind. Highly recommended
