The hotel itself is all fine, clean, comfortable and cozy with its outside and private terraces, well located in a cute neighborhood and only 10-15min walking distance to the city center. BUT We had a major problem with the airco during the night : the system started to make a LOT of noise in the middle of the night, impossible to turn off, and impossible for us to sleep. Talking about it with the reception desk, we were told it is a problem they apparently knew about already and are working on it ; they unfortunately cannot know which room will have a problem or not, as it is a central system… To bad it fell on us. NO compensation was offered, no commercial gesture while it was a KNOWN PROBLEM and it ruined our night.

Location was great. The athmosphere was really nice. Rooms were spacious. However, the breakfast was lousy.

Such a beautiful boutique hotel in a nice neighborhood. They give you a warm welcome and are very accommodating. The room was clean and tidy, as it should be. There is no tv, they inform you about this matter but we did not mind at all! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back!

Cosy, modern, quiet place. The breakfast was also very nice, quality products. We were able to check in at 00.30, they were very nice and understanding. We loved it!

Malie House was a gem! I think recently renovated; and our room was clean and modern, the bed was super comfy, and the location is perfect for getting around. We especially appreciated the free coffee, bike rentals, and the incredibly welcoming staff. The bathroom can get a little cold (due to a gorgeous big window, but it’s a minor trade-off for such a great stay. Overall, highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!

We had to travel unexpectedly to Utrecht for a family funeral. The Malie was just what we needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The lobby was relaxing and the staff were so kind. The location was excellent and in walking distance of many stores, restaurants, and public transportation. If we come again, we will be booking with you! Great job on the renovations. You can feel the care and attention to detail that went into this hotel.

It is nice place to stay for personal trip with friends and family, nice decoration, and people nice too, but it is a little far away from the station and town. However, it takes 20 min. for walk.
