We were very excited to eat here. We were half hour delayed and the staff were very accommodating which was great. However on arrival they brought drinks no food menu, which we had to ask for three times. Ordered a cocktail, the receipt was lost so it got hugely delayed - although the waitress realised and corrected it. No compensation thoguh.
Food was very good looking, but starters were cold which was a shame. The fish in them was a bit lost in the mayonnaises and sauces.
The mains were nice however, excellent fish well cooked. A bit pricy though at 25eur a plate (roughly) considering the size of the dish. We didn't get desert. When we ordered the waitress was surprised we didn't order a plate of fries - this seemed odd but made sense later!
Overall enjoyable but wouldn't go back.

Our favourite meal in Utrecht. Indoor &’outdoor tables on a quiet street.
It was possible to order individual items of the menu or alternatively to order 3 or 4 courses from a set menu that changed weekly. We opted to order 2 main courses. One main off the tasting menu & a catch of the day from the static menu. Good portion size. Lots of lovely veg.
The service was excellent. Friendly & efficent. Neither of us spoke Dutch. This was not a problem.
I would recommend this restaurant very highly. Hopefully we will get back on our next visit.

A really great fancy restaurant in Utrecht. We ordered their chef's surprise 5-course menu with wine pairing and wow they were delicious! I was very satisfied with the portion to price ratio because usually places like this serve tiny amount and you will not be filled at the end, but I m glad this is not the case. They incorporated all of your diet restriction into their cooking as well (vegan, peskitarian, etc). Service was great. The 5 course menu with wine pairing costs 59e. Would recommend here for special ocassion if you have some money to spend.

I went there with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary. We are new to the neighborhood and we would always pass by on our strolls and said we should visit the place. We decided to have chef's choice 4 course menu. We loved everything. We totally recommend the place to have some nice dinner ,with a warm atmosphere. The servers were really nice and fast acting. We were suggested a wine that we totally enjoyed and had 3 glasses each. Totally recommend for a special dinner date.

Cool restaurant (note: out of the city centre) We made a nice walk there for lunch and were pleasant surprised by the interior and vibes. Light and bright and open kitchen (love that). We both picked sandwiches (note: not many options on the menu) for lunch. Service was fast and royal portions. For us personally the flavors were a bit too subtle. The lunch menu we saw served looked very promising though. So we are curious about their dinner menu too and we will come back for sure.

Restaurant Badhuis is a stylish restaurant with well presented quality food. We had a 3 course which was tasty and enough. The wine arrangement fitted well. Only critique was that the well trained person who served us did not have sufficient knowledge about the wine that accompanied the food. Food intolerances was adapted for without any problems! Thanks folks!

Lovely food experience from the appetizer to the dessert! Oysters where also really great that I re-ordered them again! The ceviche mackerel was so yummy !!! Happy to find a place like this in my neighborhood! Just the service can be slightly improved (orders forgotten, dirty napkins where not replaced after each meal…) but for the rest all great !!!
