Nice little hotel set back from the main sort of shopping street of Karl johans gate ( about a 10 min brisk walk from where they hold the Xmas market ) . Within walking distance to many of the main tourist attractions in Oslo including the national theatre,royal palace and the opera house . About a 20min walk from the main train station . The hotel itself has a theatre within it so some evenings it can be quite busy in the lobby area . They have a breakfast area here in which they serve the usual continental and the normal eggs bacon sausage etc sort of food . The restaurant serves stunning food and the burger is probably the best burger I have ever had . Small supermarket across the road in case you need that midnight snack . The room itself is quite small with the basic amenities but comfortable. All in all a nice hotel to be based from if you are spending a few nights in Oslo

Highly recommended outstanding staff and service you could not expect the professionalism and the kindness of these Norwegians. Rooms with balcony are so nice. Water pressure is not strong at least on the higher floors. Breakfast was very good, best part was basket full of fresh avocados 😁 Most of the staff was nice but the evening receptionist guy last night seemed like he don't like his job. Location is close to everything. Water kettle in the room would've been nice, and maybe some more tv channels. Overall I like this hotel and it was a nice stay.

This is an amazing hotel. Very friendly staff, understanding as first time in country and were very helpful towards our needs. I cannot begin to describe the excellent menu. We were Bed and breakfast and the spread of food was absolutely amazing, the amount of food choice was the best i have ever had in a hotel, the hosptality was amazing and we are already looking to book there again for next year. Cannot fault this hotel at all.

First of all the good things: breakfast is great and the team really lovely. The location is very good. The rooms are a bit dated, but big dated which would not be too bad if they were cleaned. They put new towels in and clean the bathroom but the floor was never cleaned. There is a lot of grit about and although I try not to walk in boots it is inevitable to bring in muck. The whole hotel looked grubby because of it. Heating stopped working and to their credit they got it to run again. The bedding smelled of body odour. I find this really offputting and despite spraying it with disinfectant it was unpleasant. I normally do not think bedding should be changed all the time but this time I would have appreciated it. There are two nice people at reception (one really nice -works in the evenings), the rest were not particularly welcoming and seemed to mind if you asked for something. This could be a great place - central, good breakfast with a bit of attention.

The location is quite close to the city center, but the room is small, with a terrace but the hygiene situation is average, the previous hand cigarette butts are still on the terrace, not cleaned can only be said to be very average hotel

Facilities: The hotel room is quite spacious, and it doesn't seem crowded even with a sofa bed.

Service: Free tea and coffee are available at the front desk, which is a good comment. However, you need to tell the front desk separately about cleaning the room, and even after you tell them, they didn't clean it, they just changed the towels and bath towels.
