Had a great time in a great location and the service was also excellent. The hotel is spotless but room was a little dark. Also good value for money as meals included. Would highly recommend

This hotel has a lot of history. It's clean, old-fashioned, and boasts a traditional European style. There's complimentary drinking water, coffee, and tea available all day, and a simple gym. The room ceilings are very high, but it's a bit dim, giving you the feeling of stepping back in time.

The hotel boasts a great location, spacious and comfortable rooms, and a slightly older feel. There are many restaurants nearby, including the popular EGON restaurant, and the Bergen Fish Market is right across the street, making shopping convenient. The cable car is a 5-minute walk away, and Bergen train station is about a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel breakfast is plentiful, and if you prefer not to order outside, the hotel also offers complimentary dinner and afternoon tea. However, dinner is rather simple. We stayed at the hotel for four days, and one rainy day we ate dinner there, which was excellent.

Room was ok, no view, staff average. Room cleaning poor, some lights were not working properly and no phone in rooms to call front desk.

Very cute hotel! Rooms were spacious and very relaxing. I liked that there were plenty of places to sit in the lobby.
Breakfast starts at 8:00 on weekends. This is too late for those going for fjord sightseeing. I was very disappointed because I had to leave before 8:00. But I appreciate that they made breakfast bags for me.

Very good hotel. Location is good. Rooms are a little outdated but everything is really clean and it all works ok. For the money, I would stay again.

Overall the hotel is good. But, the liquid soap & shampoo bottles are choked until we're struggling to get the "juices" out. We like the self-service coffee/tea/chocolate, though.
