A great hotel with a very friendly and professional team. The room with the whirlpool was impressive, clean and well maintained. Excellent amenities, perfect location, great wellness offers. I would be happy to come back anytime

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but unfortunately it still has a bit to go before it can be called excellent. Our stay left us with mixed impressions, but mostly the feeling that the hotel is in need of better upkeep.

The last refurbishment seems to have been around 2016 and its starting to show. Compared to our stay three years ago, the overall standard has declined while the prices have gone way up. Outdoor areas are starting to look neglected, with algae, weeds and loose stones, several lights in three and flodlights not working and cables everywhere. Indoors several details drag down the experience: uneven flooring, doors that don’t close properly, and technical features that are either outdated or non-functional.

One of the most unpleasant aspects was the overpowering lemon scent from air freshener plugs in all hallways and some rooms. For anyone with allergies or sensitivities this is terrible. The smell feels more like an attempt to cover something up than to create a pleasant atmosphere.

Room
• No heat in the bathroom floor or towel heater.
• A broken light cone over the mirror.
• A wooden tissue box holder fell off the wall and onto my foot.
• Four non-functioning floodlights on the balcony, which would have been far too bright even if they worked.
• A box of Christmas decorations stored in the closet.
• Multiple switches not working.
• The wall-mounted iPad was outdated (iOS 12.5.7, while the current version is iOS 26), making it useless for apps like YouTube.
• Room Wi-Fi didn’t work so connected to the general hotels. The shared network allowed casting to TV and speakers also means you could accidentally cast to every room in the hotel; a major security and privacy risk.

Spa
• The steam room didn’t produce any steam during our entire stay, even after repeatedly pressing the button.
• The hot tub had a bit low pressure with bubbles only in the center and not much around the seats.
• The sauna had no real heat, and there was a laser light shining straight into the eyes.
• Uneven flooring in the pool area.
• Shower next to pool couldn’t regulate the temperature properly (either too cold or too hot).

Staff and atmosphere
Staff uniforms were inconsistent, with some front desk employees wearing shabby t-shirts, which did not give a professional impression. One employee even parked an electric scooter in the reception area several times. These are small details, but they reduce the sense of quality and proffesionalism.

Noise and comfort
The walls are not very soundproof. We could hear both the barking dog in the neighboring room and guests in the adjoining apartment. Allowing dogs on the top floors away from stairways might help minimize disturbance.

Breakfast
Breakfast was a clear highlight; tasty, freshly made, and served to order. There were a few flies around, but otherwise it was a positive part of the stay.

This hotel still has charm and potential, but it feels like management has let standards slip. With proper renovation, stricter maintenance, and more professional attention to detail it could once again deserve top reviews. We hope to return next time!

The hotel looks luxurious in photos, but the reality is completely different. The only decent thing was the little electric cars – everything else was a disappointment.

The rooms are outdated, worn-out, and smell unpleasant. The mattresses are short, saggy, and the beds are creaky and uncomfortable. Two kids are expected to share one tiny bed – completely unacceptable.

The pool is heavily over-chlorinated – the smell of chlorine spreads throughout the hotel, and the wellness area is more unpleasant than relaxing. There’s a Nespresso machine in the room, but you only get one capsule per person for the entire stay – and not even original capsules like they used to offer. No cleaning service came during our stay.

The price is outrageously high for what you actually get. It’s clear that no one has invested in this place for a long time. Read the other negative reviews – I fully agree with them.

The hotel that just keeps giving

Imagine experiencing something new, and getting the "wow this is brilliant" feeling each day during your stay. This is how we felt about being guests at this magnificent place.

We originally planned to book a stay at one of the high-end luxury brand hotels, but we chose this because it was more affordable, and boy must i say, it's probably the best decision I've ever made while choosing a home during my vacation.

I'll name a few things that I appreciated:

Free rent of electric vehicles and electric bicycles. Awesome wellness area. Breakfast menu served at table. Super nice rooms. Beach stool and wind protector which you can bring to the beach. And of course a very helpful staff.

I'll be sure to return on my next adventure to Gdansk/Sopot.

Fairy tale hotel. Dream vacation or stay on another occasion. I think everyone will be happy here. Sensational pool. The service of Little England is smiling and helpful. Rooms furnished in great style. Perfect for reptiles because there is no shortage here. I really recommend it. The reception will order a taxi from the airport or to the airport, organize a trip to Malbork castle or Stutthof concentration camp. You always feel like a VIP here.
